Almost exact durastar replacement
This seems like an almost exact replacement for durastar generator. The machining is definitely lower quality. Imperfections on both sides of gasket surface. The choke valve definitely has a notch on its machining not present on the original. Overall it should work.

Perfect fit- no modifications needed. Engine starts on second pull and runs smoothly.

Fixed my free generator
I was unable to clean the carburetor on a generator I got for free and it would die in about two seconds. A quick check on Amazon and I realized that my time was worth too much to keep messing with it. This was an exact replacement and it fired up the second pull.
