Works but made of plastic
Works on all terrains. Made of plastic so hopefully will be durable enough for the kids.

Goes anywhere, but has Nicad battery pack
As you can see in the pic, this thing is huge. It has lots of power and high enough clearance that it can go almost anywhere on any terrain. Grass and rough terrain are no problem, but even large 4-5 inch stones are no problem for this one. It has enough power to "climb" over obstacles. It has a pretty large turning radius, but that's not a problem. This one is tons of fun out in the woods or dirt pit where there are lots of challenging obstacles.Unfortunately, I can't give it a full 5 stars because it came with ancient NiCad battery technology. (see my last pic). NiCad batteries were fine 20 years ago, because that's all we had. However there is a reason almost anything battery powered now is with a Lithium based battery. Lithium last longer, as they can be recharged many more times than NiCad before they are used up. NiCad batteries lose charge just sitting idle, while lithium does not. You get more longer lasting power from a lithium battery than a same size NiCad. They give you only ONE 6V NiCad battery pack that takes hours to charge. If you have other rc toys that come with those ubiquitous 3.7V 500mAh batteries, and thus have extras, I suppose you could mate two of them together in series giving you 7V lithium power. The battery compartment is large enough to handle that. I don't think that extra volt would burn out the truck motor, but not sure how it would handle that. Point being, it needs a couple of 1200mAh modern lithium batteries. Thus, knocking off one star. Too bad, because this is a pretty cool monster truck that can handle almost any terrain.

Perfect RC Truck for children and adults of all ages!!!!
DOUBLE E RC Rock Crawler 4WD Dual Motors Rechargeable Remote Control Truck Off Road RC Car First let me thank the sellers for providing a rugged, affordable, full time all wheel drive, with independent articulating suspension RC truck that lives up to its reviews. I have 2 kids, a 6 yr old boy and a recently turned 5 yr old girl. My son has always had the better, faster RC vehicles while my daughter doesn't quite get the concept of how to handle a RC car with any speed. She hits about everything out there and sometimes I believe that she intentionally goes out of her way to find things to run into just to destroy his cars. (Love the sibling rivalry). Long story short, she was tired of playing with his RC vehicles and asked for one of her own for her 5th birthday. (Not any RC car... A pink truck). After countless hours of reading the reviews of the very few pink RC vehicles out there, I came to the conclusion that none would be able to withstand the tortures that my daughter was about to put it through. So I ventured out and started reviewing other RC vehicles. After scouring through review after review I kept coming across this truck. It had solid reviews, looked durable, had all wheel drive and after seeing a video... thought yep this might last the longest a full week in her clutches. So I ordered the truck and once I received it, decided to give it a paint job.I probably should've done some more research on the color pink. Like what color of pink did my daughter like? Was the color available by automotive paint providers? Does automotive paint adhere to plastic like it does to a prepared metal, fiberglass, or epoxy surface? As you guessed it, I never thought any of this through very well. So I sat down with my daughter and started perusing through available pink spray paints, acrylic paints, plastic-dip spray and and so forth. This is what she picked. Dynamic Pink Custom Wrap Removable Coating 11 oz. Aerosol, (WARNING: THIS PAINT IS HOT NEON PINK) it was the color she liked and I could get it at the auto parts store right down the road. After some disassembly, prep work and taping it was ready be sprayed then re-assembled and to be boxed up again.THIS THING IS A BEAST!!!!!! Yes her brother can still out run her and win races on concrete or asphalt, but that's all he can do. I've never seen her smile as much as she has when she rolls right over his cars, hits curbs flat out and it climbs right up them, goes through grass like it was nothing, graveled areas are a piece of cake, my work boots while I'm still in them (yes she has climbed my legs a few times with it) are no problem for it.... she absolutely loves it. My son has pleaded with me that he needs one cause it's not fair........ well son this is a lesson that you just have to learn, that the world isn't fair. It's been 3 weeks of heavy abuse to the truck. It's gone down several flights of stairs, my son getting jealous and stomping it, ramming it objects that were never meant to be climbed over in a RC vehicle and slightly hit by my wife's tire of her car.... it's still going strong!!! I highly recommend this RC vehicle to any parent that has a child that wants a RV vehicle. It's not the fastest but who needs to be fast when it goes where most other RC cars can't. Junk product and horrible customer service
Would give zero stars, but that is not an option.Bought this for a Christmas present on Amazon Prime days in October. The sealed box wasn't opened until December for Christmas. Once opened, product still intact in packaging zip ties and such, noticed the rear axel pin under suspension was already broken. I contacted the manufacturer DOUBLE E via email and it took multiple emails and over a month to receive a replacement part. Double E would not send out a new blue RC truck because that is not what they do for their customers. They can only send replacement parts. Finally received a replacement axle pin, fixed the broken part, and thought it was good to go. Unfortunately, another axel pin is now broken within 5 minutes of driving around inside on a flat surface. Haven't been able to experience all the fun tricks and multi terrains it is capable of because it is broken and not well made. Definitely would like a refund to put towards a different brand of RC truck that can actually be played with and enjoyed. This entire process has been extremely difficult for my child to understand. The only thing my child wants to do is have fun with the RC monster truck of his favorite color. Unfortunately, we were passed the 30 day return window. We are now out the money we paid and a broken RC truck for our son.

Broken piece
This was a gift from Santa and initially, very impressed. Drives well on all terrain and is easy for my 7yo to control. Looks cool!Unfortunately, one of the bars underneath snapped. The car is still drivable but a brand new toy shouldn’t break.Im going to contact about a replacement today.
