I just received this five hours ago. Its my firat bluetooth speaker I've owned.I bought this because my nice computer speakers couldnt cut through the sound of my apartments AC when in another room. It would also be a nice apartment feature when my friends come over.The speaker came in a package with two other orders I had made, and dispite the lack of protection in the box (rare for amazon as I at least see some attempt to protect my items.) the speakers packaging held up VERY well. Inside the speakers box was the speaker, a very short auxiliary cord, a very short mini usb charging cable, and a small page of intructions written in slightly broken English. The speaker is very well built and feels more expensive than other bluetooth speakers you might find. Its covered in a thick silicon layer and has a chemical smell to it that im sure will fade over time. The back has a small flap of thick silicon (about 1/2 an inch) that opens to reveal all the inputs. Im a bit tech savvy so i know that you should always give your portable electronics a full charge before using them, so i plugged it in and a red light appeared near the micro usb input. It took at least 4.5 hours to charge, and assuming the it had some juice when it arrived, its safe to say that it will take 5 or more hours for a full charge.After reading the instructions, I connected it to my phone through bluetooth and started some music. The sound quality was very good, not tinny or muffled. Im not picky about bass and im not a sound expert, but the sound quality is pretty good for the price. You can turn the sound up with both your phone, AND the speaker which adds more volume if you like your music loud. The volume is great considering the size. And I like that it beeps when you reached the max volume on the speaker. This way your not hitting the button and trying to ponder whether the volume is actually rising. I love that its splash proof incase of accidents around the speaker, but I wouldnt go dunking it in water. The bluetooth can be a bit shotty between walls, but im okay with that so far.If I had any complaints to list they would be:The smellThe logo placement (the placement ruins the designs symmetrical look, and bothers me some.)Battery charge timeFor a first time bluetooth speaker this will do amazingly.

A great looking speaker, good sound. I feel it needs more bass, I was able to adjust the bass level on my phone to maximum and the speaker sounded better when I did that. It was easy to connect with the blue tooth, I have NOT dunked it into a bucket of water to test the waterproof quality of it but it does appear that all ports are sealed to water. For the price the value of this speaker is top notch.

This company hounded me for a review the minute I ordered it and for weeks afterwards. But I figured I would actually use the thing before writing a review on it. I took it on a 6 hour kayaking trip with it connected via bluetooth to my phone. I knew it said waterproof, but I figured I still had to protect it. Despite my best efforts, there were several times I would look over and it would be almost entirely underwater--still pumping out my music! Flawless connection to boot. The battery even lasted for the entire trip plus being used as my radio in my car for a few days afterwards. Since then, I carry it pretty much everywhere. I feel like I have gotten my money's worth even if it stops working today. 10/10 would recommend!

I had already bought one of these speakers for my daughter for Christmas and now I have bought two more. Listen these speakers are absolutely fantastic!!! The sound is crystal clear not to loud and not to quiet!!!!! The price is great, I take it every where I go. My son loves it he's about to buy his girlfriend one. And it's perfect size!!!!

Completely unusable with audiobooks or podcasts. The speaker turns off after each break in continuous audio (eg: end of sentence, comma, etc.) and then doesn't turn back on quickly enough to avoid cutting off some syllables or words. Its very disruptive to the listening experience. Seemed to work fine for the few music albums I tried though. I gave mine away to someone who didn't mind the deficiencies rather than hassle with shipping a return.

Bought this for my sister with an agreement that she would get rid of her monstrous receiver. Now it is glued to her hip lol.. she absolutely loved it! The sound quality isn't quit as good as my Jambone but its close with a quarter of the price.

I've had this for about 3 months now...and I thought it was a good buy but now I'm not sure sense I've used it a few times...I'm not sure what's going on but I use it with an SD card and my phone but if the song as any kind of hard bass to it the unit will freeze up and u have to master rest it dunno if the battery gets weak after you use it or if it's just bc the bass but it gets aggregating

This is a really nice Bluetooth speaker.Easy to use. It took me less than a minute to have this synced with my S8.The sound is super loud and clear and it did have bass!This feels very solid and has some weight to it. When I set it down even with the bass booming it is not going anywhere.No complaints. Would recommend.
