Summer Slumber Buddies, Butterfly

After i noticed my daughter watching the flash light of my cell phone reflected on the ceiling i knew i had to find something for her. I debated a number of different products and came close to ordering the skip hop owl or elephant but i am so glad i went with this one for her. The butterfly design is adorable, its small but also large enough. I've found myself moving it between her nursery and our room where she sleeps even but this to me is better than the skip hop toy. The blue and green light choices are perfect and fill her whole nursery ceiling. When she's been screaming we come in her nursery and turn it on and almost instantly it grabs her attention and calms her down. Easy buttons that I'm sure she'll be able to use down the line. I'm so happy with this product!!! She's currently 3 months old and loving the lights so yourself a favor and buy one, you can't go wrong for $17!

This little butterfly has been a huge help in our house. Many naps and sleeps have happened because of this little guy. The music is nice and calming, there are several little melodies on it as well as some water flowing and a heartbeat sound. There is a button for 3 volume options as well. The option to also have the colors on the ceiling is really nice too, the red doesn't seem to show up much on the ceiling however it is the least bright so I tend to use that one the most. The green and blue are much brighter and show up on the ceiling a lot better so all of the little stars and planets show up really well. There is also an option that allows you to let it cycle through the colors on its own (it fades from red to green to blue). I like that this has different time settings too, you can chose to let it play for 15, 30 or 45minutes. My only wish is that you could chose an option longer than 45mins, otherwise we love everything about it and actually purchased a 2nd one for Grandma's house.

Wonderful gift for any child. Would buy in a heartbeat again. It has a variety of colors to choose from . There is also a variety of lullabies including a heartbeat. There is a 3rd button to change the volume which is really nice. The timer on it has quite a few different settings from just a few minutes up to 45 minutes. It looks like it would be larger than it is in the pictures. It is a nice size to set on a nightstand. The wings are not large at all. I do wish there was more to the wings but that is a personal preference. You will not regret this purchase if your little ones like looking at stars, Saturn and a crescent moon. Really cute as well

Even though my daughter didn't fall in love with it how I'd hoped, I'm still giving this 5 stars. It's not the company/product's fault my daughter isn't using it as her new BFF.The good:-Cute.-Medium size. Good for carrying around and snuggling.-Lights have 4 options, either 3 solid colors, or 1 setting that rotates through all the colors.-Projects stars and a couple planets on ceiling or other surface.-Light isn't too bright for child to snuggle. If you're worried your child will stare directly into the bulb, you're psychic, because they will. However, it's not too bright. And your kid will get bored of trying to see how the inner workings of the thing go.-3 different volume settings. One is rather loud, then obviously it's progressively softer. The softest setting for volume is what we use.The bad:-My toddler just doesn't care. She likes it as a toy, and seems okay with it lighting up, she likes to point it at the wall and stuff, but as a comfort measure, she could go with or without it and still hates bed time as much as she did before :) She does like to hug it during the day time occasionally and now tries to say the word "butterfly" :)

My daughter enjoys this toy and is able to turn it on herself at night. I am not a fan of the water sound.. a couple times I've woken up and thought we had water coming in or something- its super loud and the heart beat sounds a bit creepy in the middle of the night, but it keeps her happy for the most part. The middle has the battery pack and is hard. Apparently the Velcro is pretty strong because it is the only toy she has not been able to break into and rip out the voice/battery box!

We ordered this butterfly for our 21 month old daughter. She recently received a second-hand Cloud b ladybug that her older sister claimed, so I thought I should get another one because they keep fighting for it at bedtime. Well this butterfly was a lot less expensive than the Cloud b ones and it does a lot more! It plays music/calming tones and can cycle through all 3 colors instead of just having to pick one. We are very happy with this and hope it holds up to lots of use. Also it came with batteries already in it which is great!
