Workhorse cooking stove
This thing kicks butt! Well built, easy to clean with kitchen wipes or rag and water. Easily boils large amounts of water as a measure of performance. Large burners, more even heating you will notice if you use these units. Im impressed for sure.

Great investment to elevate your camping experience!
True rating is 4.75 stars. First, let me say I absolutely love this stove! It heats up cast iron fast, cooks evenly, cleans easily, and locks down for travel and storage. Itโs large enough that I can use any of my Stanley cookware without having to move anything where itโs not directly over the stove eye. I can also fit my Lodge cast iron griddle on it and keep the wind guards up. Some people have reported issues with output levels but my camp stove cooks the same levels as my gas cooktop at homeโฆ Low simmer, good simmer, low heat, medium, med-high heat, make you sweat when itโs below freezing high heatโฆ Iโve also cooked with 25+ MPH wind gusts and it didnโt blow out. (I was high heat cooking so it might have been a different story if I was trying to simmer.) there is a small space beneath the side arms that can allow wind through. I recently saw a lady who had taken aluminum foil wrapped around each side guard and then brought it down and under the bottom of the stove to block out wind. Itโs easy, cheap, and reflected heat back at the food so Iโll be trying that on my next trip. The cooking rack is solid steel and can be removed for cleaning. This is great functionality but can rattle when driving. Easily fixed by storing the gas regulator in a white Amazon padded shipping sleeve along with my hotpads. The only negative I have is regarding the gas regulator arm, and this is industry-wide for camp stoves. Iโm overly cautious about fire, gas, etc. because I live and camp in extreme wildfire zones. If you are going to use the 1lb green cans with the stove, please rest the can on a solid surface like a picnic table or rock. Gravity, heat expansion, people/pets getting too close and bumping , etc. make it risky to have the can sticking out without extra support. This is not unique to this stove, as most stoves have a similar design. I use an Ignik growler tank and the Ignik adapter hose, both for safety and the larger capacity. The hose fits securely and doesnโt pull on the adapter arm as long as there is enough slack. I got my Ignik at REI and get it refilled at my local ACE hardware. Overall, I think this is the best option and great investment if you want a camp stove for car camping.

Worth the money
Did research and this kept surfacing as a standout. Double the heat output of the classic coleman and similar models. Better simmer control. Well built and even the design of the wind shields is better than most. If you want to own one of the best camp stoves this is it.

The standard by which all other camping stoves are measured. Itโs wonderful and looks great!
We love this stove. Super hot burners that can be dialed way down for slow simmer. These burners have a โlipโ around the burner perimeter that almost guarantees a quick start, even with a stiff breeze. In addition, the actual wind barrier gets clamped down the metal latches that also latch the lid closed when transporting it. Two minor gripes. One is that when dialing back the gas the know wants to โspring backโ a bit so it is not a singular motion to reduce the flame (1 star reduction for this). The second, though it is also a benefit as it will fit two pretty large pans at once, it is pretty large and takes up a lot of space in the car when traveling. No deduction, just an FYI.

Camp chef
This stove surpassed expectations! Throws out a bunch of heat but because of that your gas tanks donโt last as long but with an adapter to a bigger tank itโll be the perfect on the go set up! 10/10 Highly Recommend

Exceptional camp stove!!
I couldnโt be more happy with this camp stove for car (truck) camping. Boiling water was SUPER fast. On the other side I warmed up pre-cooked sausages. Thereโs plenty of room. My favorite part is the built in ignition. Starting the stove is a breeze. I feel extremely pleased with my decision to purchase the Everest 2!! NOTE: I bought mine as a refurbished unit. I was disappointed the unit did NOT come with the attachment to the gas cylinder. You would think they would have corrected that error when the stove was returned. I had to order the part directly from Camp Chef to make the stove complete. Amazon reimbursed me for the price of the part but that was a pretty junior varsity effort by them. It gives me some caution when considering other refurbished products. Fortunately for me, it wasnโt urgent but if I was going on a trip sooner, I would have been extremely unhappy. That said, I very highly recommend this exceptional camp stove!!

Outstanding stove!
Outstanding stove, really happy with it! The only downside is the connector is not compatible with aftermarket regulator hoses so you are stuck with the bar / pipe type that comes with it. But it isnt really an issue. Blows the coleman stoves away, high performing high BTU burners. Kind of expensive but if you catch it used or on sale scoop one up.

When you want extra BTUs
When you want that extra cooking power. Is it as light or slim? No itโs not. Is it a brute to get the job done and still small enough for car camping? Definitely is! Easy to use. Heats water quickly. I did purchase the bulk tank adapter to add a 5lb tank. I also love I can use two 12 inch pans if needed.

Expensive but worth every penny
Works like a charm. Boils fast and simmers gently. Sometimes had trouble with the surge valve on the cylinder so had to open the cylinder valve and burner valve slowly.

Very nice. Cadillac of stoves!
I ordered Dec. 02/2022 and it came by Amazon Dec. 09/2022 I paid CDN$ 276.11 with Amazon prime and taxes. It has gone up to way too much now. Everyone told me I paid way too much even though good quality. Now price gone up to $340 days after I ordered. So far so good, it works fine, and can go to a low simmer.
