Excellent slicer for hardboiled eggs and strawberries. Works well and cleans up quickly. Seems very well constructed with stainless steel wires and metal frame. We are very satisfied and recommended it to other family members.

Slicer works very nice, slices are precise, and not ragged. Very easy to clean, just pop in dishwasher, Nice and sturdy, unlike the one I purchased thru a party plan. Hubby even tried it works great ! Haven't tried on Strawberry's yet! Shipping was quick

I like this Egg Slicer a lot because it is very sturdy in its construction. Wire slicers are strong and securely fastened to the unit, producing precise slices. The unit is easy to wash under running water or put into the dishwasher.

I cannot believe I am saying that I love this egg slicer, but I do and I will say more below. I NEED to use the egg slice a lot because I care for my Mother who has an auto-immune disorder which limits her food options amongst other problems, and boiled eggs are one of the suitable food items. You might ask, so why not 5 stars??? It is because it arrived damaged, however, amazingly it still functions so well. Sadly, because it was gifted to me after the return window, I was forced to keep the slicer. If you zoom in on the image of the slicer you can see the stainless steel cutting wires that push through the egg an then in between aluminum "tines". One of those "tines" arrived broken at the contact point with the frame, but near the edge of where the egg would be. The aluminum is strong enough though, that the "tine" has stayed in the correct position even to this day, and therefore I am able to slice just fine, in fact better than fine. But because of the damage to an unopened product, I have dinged one star. Luckily, it still functions very well, but I suspect someday it will fail at which time I will just have buy another because it slays my old slicer. Otherwise, FOR SURE this would be a 5 star review. My advice in general is, DO NOT buy slicers that have any plastic parts and or flimsy slicing wires. You will be let down as something will likely break. I had one that had a wire break in the first 3 months - trash. Then I had one that had a plastic frame and plastic hinges and after a year or so, one of the hinges broke and became a total nightmare to use. The aluminum frame and hinges on this slicer are so much better and stronger than others I have used even with the broken "tine". If I want to sort of dice the egg, I can slice the egg normally, then easily rotate the egg 90 degrees and it STILL FITS and slices a 2nd time very easily. Worth a purchase, just check the integrity of the slicer after shipping.

5 stars! I got tired of buying the cheap plastic egg slicers because they never last long. I bought two of these — one for home and one for our business where we slice eggs often for sandwiches, salads, and more. This one is very durable and made all in one piece, which I really appreciate. No loose parts, nothing flimsy to snap or break off. That’s especially important in a business setting where parts tend to disappear or get broken by employees over time. So far, this slicer has been great and feels like it will last much longer than the plastic versions.

I bought an egg slicer from Target and it was a piece of #$@&. Cheap crap from China. I'm not sure where this one was made but it works so much better. I'm very happy with it.
