This light bar is actually more feature-rich than I need (it can provide cool or warm lighting, there is a back light capability for ambient lighting, etc.), but it’s been perfect! In theory my laptop has a backlit keyboard, but only a few letters show through. Since I use my laptop sitting next to Hubby while he watches TV in a darkened room, I really needed some lighting. I’m able to angle the light to my keyboard, and dim it enough so it doesn’t bother him. It clips onto the top of the laptop beautifully, without blocking any part of the monitor and without shining any light on the display. It really is perfect!

I really needed another source of light at night when I am on my laptop and my wife is sleeping. This is amazing and is perfect. Just clip it to the top of the monitor and plug and play.

Despite my efforts, this device is NOT powered by USB-C connector. A USB-A connector is needed to attach this for power from your laptop. Not ideal for those of us using devices that only have USB-C ports (Apple Neo). That aside, the light is easy to use and mostly stays put. Establishing the initial brightness can be a little tricky…remembering which side of the light controls which feature is a little bit of something that may come with time. It certainly is bright when set that way and dims nicely for my use. The variety of light type (soft, natural or white) is useful for some as well. All in all, I’m happy with this purchase. I took 4 photos. The light was set to max brightness for the photos. Also, the light bar rotates in its holder so you don’t have to see the LEDs like in my photos. I did this intentionally to help show the width. 1 photo shows how much further this plug sticks out when using an adapter for USB-A to USB-C.

I didn’t realize how much I needed this monitor light bar until I started using it. It makes a huge difference when working at night—my screen area is well-lit without any glare or harsh reflections. The dual light setup feels really balanced, and I like being able to switch between the different color modes depending on my mood or time of day. The dimming feature is smooth, and it remembers my settings, which is a nice touch. What I appreciate most is how easy it is on the eyes. I can work longer without that usual strain or fatigue. It just sits neatly on top of the monitor and does its job without getting in the way. Overall, a simple but really effective upgrade for any desk setup.

I bought this light in January 2023. Now in March 2024 it has gotten very dim. I have tried different cords, and different plugs. I loved this when I bought it but now am not happy. It should work longer than a year and 2 months.

If you're having trouble seeing when using your laptop at night, you need this! Don't bother with those adjustable arm things that you can bend over your keyboard. They're not bright enough and they don't cover the whole keyboard. THIS DOES! Super easy to install/assemble, and the clip even has a cutout for your built-in web cam. There's a slight learning curve to figure out the function, but no worries, just mess with it a bit and you'll figure it out. Provides great light on the keyboard without being excessive and it looks sleek. Not sure there's much they could do to improve on this product. I am happy and sold!

MacBook Neo has no backlit keys. This light is amazing for keyboard night use. One of the best add ons I've ever bought.

avevo gia avviato il reso(solo perche' non avevo capito perche' la lampada restava mobile sul display) quando ho visto che c'era un perno che dovevo togliere, la lampada mi piace tanto perche' per un display da 15,6 e' perfetta , misura 33 cm gli altri sono tutti da 26 cm e a me non piacevano, quindi mi sono impegnato e ho capito che dovevo togliere quel perno che bloccava la molla

When writing this review, it was September 28th, and I first received this product on September 4th. I have been using it every day since its arrival. First impressions were phenomenal. Straight out of the box, you get exactly what you want. Three types of light as advertised with varying levels of brightness. The dimmest setting is perfect for a quick run on your device late into the night. The highest setting can illuminate my room which is pretty cool. When I have someone over or just want some light at night time, I turn this on to max brightness along with another monitor light bar I have. I have even used this guy at my University. Setup and removal is straightforward. The setup consists of three parts in total. A cord, the cylinder light bar and an attachment clip. Very easy for people who are on the go. The clip feels sturdy and won't break. I still wouldn't ever be aggressive with it though. Best to be gentle with these types of things. The only reason why I wouldn't get this is if you were intending on using it on a computer monitor, especially a curved one. Since this is advertised for as a laptop light bar, the clip can only clip on something as thin as a laptop monitor. The largest it can open to clip is about 2 cm give or take, but it'll realistically only stay on properly around 1.2ish cm more or less. I would include photos but I am using my laptop. Preparing photos and transferring it to my laptop is not a endeavor I am willing to take at the moment :P Summary: Great product, works as advertised and incredibly happy with my purchased. Used everyday for 24 days and works like the first day I got it. Highly recommend. HOWEVER, do not use this for a computer monitor. There are slim chances that it will fit. Especially larger curved computer monitors. The clip does not open wide as it is intended for laptops.

Light bar is bright enough and has good set of settings to vary output and colour. Laptop clip is OK, but it's not solid enough. I'd also like to use the lightbar and without the laptop, but it comes with only one mounting option/clip. I think the product is a little pricey for what it is and it could be supplied with more mounting options. I'm not sure other laptop light bars would be any better.

Lights up my screen and keyboard perfectly. Love the different modes to suit time of day. Easy to install, doesn’t cover my laptop camera and easy to remove. Compact and neat to carry. Comes in a sturdy box that is great for travel.
