Used it to start a dead car battery, and used light features too. Battery lasts for a good while between uses.

I've used the device 3 times so far. 1st time I used it took a while because the instruction are not ideal. The 3rd time I tried to jump my GF's bmw using the under hood terminals, and it did not work. The connectors could not make a good ground. That could be remedied, but we just went into the trunk and pulled the covers and did it directly. If you are going to utilize it for trail use Like I do, you may want to ensure that it will make a solid connection. The flashlight has been used more often than the starter feature. Battery life is great. I hope I never really need to use the other features, but they are there if I do.

The friend of the family's pulled this out of his car I was so impressed how fast it started my daughter's car up. after trying to jump her car with regular cables this little thing sat there for a couple seconds and her car started right up. This is the best car battery starter. My car died parked between 2 other cars, so ordinary jumper cables were not useful. My car dealership loaned us this tool and it was do easy to use without needing to be next to another car., or using long cables. It worked all by itself. So, we bought the CarAIDE immediately.
