Great filter ... Great price
I have a Honeywell 50150-N (The "N" denotes Long Lasting HEPA filter option)* Fits like original* Look, feel, weight like original* So far as I can tell it is operating like original* Price is right***NOTE: Other reviews saying filter not filling correctly***At the time of purchase this filter sold by Amazon Prime was out of stock. I ;purchased from a different vendor on Amazon for same price. I noticed many reviews saying the filter does not fit correctly .... Maybe the Prime filter is made by different mfgr. compared to the one I purchased. The one I purchased fits like original. The 50150-N came with a (Long Lasting) HEPA filter which is supposed to last 3-5 yrs.As claimed, mine lasted 3 yrs. + one month operating 24 x 7Hopefully this new replacement will perform as wellI clean the HEPA filter and Charcoal pre-filter every month w/ vacuum attachmentReplace charcoal filter every 3-4 mos.Hope this helps:)

Excellent and Functional Product
I've used the HEPA filters for at least 5 years like this and they really help keep dust down to a minimum. We also have a high traffic area with a high shedding dog who really contributes to shedding in the house. This has been a tremendous contribution to pure air in our house. It also helps filter out odors in our large livingroom.I change this larger filter every 2 years and change the prefilter every 3 months. It's surprising how much dirt is in the air when I change the filters.

***Good(Not Great)Replacement Filter***
Taking this one out of the box (yes it came in a plain brown box) and comparing it to the original filter (the unit model 18150 was in storage) it has the same rubbery type plastic top and bottom, the orig. has a black nylon mesh on the outer ring and a metal inner ring the after market or replacement type uses white nylon on both sides which makes sense. The filter itself is a tad thinner than the orig. thickness wise but is a snow white element which will show dirt and whatnot easily and hopefully move more air through it faster thus collecting more of the stuff we bought it for. Both types have to be replaced eventually anyway so this particular replacement will be a lot easier on the wallet when that time comes.Knocking a star off for the paper element not being as robust... but it really should be a half a star.... so think Four and a Half Stars.

Two years of solid running and they finally stopped flowing well. These fit quite well and show up in great shape (I always worry they will be crushed) and very quickly. Heck of a lot cheaper and it's a lot easier to find these than to have a clerk at the box store tell you he can order them for you (I apparently look like a moron who can't operate a computer to these folks) at a much lower price.

Doesn't fit Honeywell 50150 height 1/8 in short
Well made, no smell. Height is 1/8 in short, won't seal. Planning on making a felt or rubber gasket, should work fine then.

Is there any way to be sure of what you're getting?
Honeywell stopped making this model filter a number of years ago. Instead of a broad range of different size filters, they switched to a design that allowed for the sale of one filter size (height) that could be stacked with a gasket in between them. This made it simpler for retailers to stock filters that would fit lots of different models, and for consumers to find the filters as well.I'd prefer to use the original filter as it was designed for my air cleaner in the first place if it's still available for purchase. After a considerable amount of searching on the web, I found this listing on Amazon for a Honeywell branded filter, the same model that came with my air cleaner. Now, you might say "But I thought you said they stopped making it?" Well, that's true, but as with lots of discontinued products, sometimes new "old stock" inventory is available for many years after production stops. Savvy suppliers see the value in stocking up and selling the product for years to come.I thought I had stumbled onto just such a scenario with this product, offered for sale by an Amazon 3rd party seller, Allergy Be Gone. This company also sells the same filter on their own site, and on other marketplaces. In all the places they sell it, they represent it as a Honeywell brand product. From that representation you would expect that the product would come in a retail box, have a Honeywell part number or other designation on it, etc.I was disappointed to receive a generic brown shipping box, with a filter inside. No retail box. No evidence of it being a Honeywell part.It does fit the air cleaner. That's good. Is it the same quality as the OEM Honeywell filter? I have no idea. Is it even a HEPA class filter? No idea. When you buy a branded product, you're operating under the assumption that the company and brand behind the product wouldn't risk their business reputation by making a shoddy product, right? But can that assumption extend to a generic product made by ?, sold by a company that actively misrepresents the products they sell. No.So, what's this mean? Well, if I were interested in buying this filter again, I'd first avoid the seller "Allergy Be Gone". Prior to making my purchase, I'd contact the seller offering the product and ask a simple question: "Is the filter you're offering new "old stock" of a Honeywell branded product, or is it a generic filter that simply matches the size? Should I expect to get a generic "brown box" filter, or a retail box Honeywell product? It's possible that no one has this actual Honeywell filter any longer. In that case, the prospective buyer should be given accurate information as to it's manufacturing origins. To represent it as a Honeywell product is fraud. I might have still purchased this filter had it been represented as a generic replacement, as it should have been.

Filter element for Honeywell 21500 series Canisters.
Appears Honeywell may not make this replacement filter anymore and that they are all white box type. Mine did not fit that well on the older filter canister. Does work ok with a little leakage.
