Better for u than rice
Tasty, nutty healthy Freekah! I cooked mine not based on directions ...instead i toast the grains with a bit of oil and fresh rosemary; let the water boil in my electric kettle; add seasoning and boiling water to grains then turn the flame to 4 and let it cook ! So tasty

Bad batch 🤔
Product arrived, never purchased this particular grain before open package strong pungent stale order. Returning as other customer say there should be no smell to this product.

In my opinion it would be better with a different preparation
I read about this grain in a magazine. The article says that it can be found in every supermarket. Not true. Cooked it once following Ottolenghi's recipe but I did not care much for the taste. In my opinion it would be better with a different preparation. In all, it is a good grain, will continue experimenting with it.

Delicious!
We love Freekeh and it's a great alternative to rice...much healthier, too.

Big grains
Too big grains , tasteless - I wanted the feel of the taste from “dish and dash” but alas

Earthy flavor -- good and nutritional for vegan
I mix this with jasmine rice a lot and it gives it an extra nutritional boost and even more flavor. This is great for vegan dishes as a substitute and it definitely has an earthy, nutty flavor. I enjoy it!

Weird flavor
I’ve bought freekah many times before and this has a really weird flavor that I didn’t like. It was almost like it was expired

Four Stars
It's really tasty. Just the price is high compared to what I know.
