Beautifully designed packaging, looks very aesthetically pleasing. The packaging contains information about the product. The oil has a thick consistency with a pronounced pleasantly sweet sugary odor. The kit includes a special plastic dispenser for a more accurate use of oil. The oil is very valuable in its composition, which is well suited for the treatment of skin diseases. I add it to creams, it helps a lot in healing blisters and wounds.

Very thick and sticky essential oil which indicates it is pure and concentrated. I have a couple of essential oil diffusers which work most of the days. The bottle comes with a dropper which makes controlling the amount of oil much easier. It is not a familiar scent but I feel it quite pleasant to smell. The scent lingers well in the room.

I am reading reports that I was not aware of before about this being a strong allergen when coming into contact with the skin. Please do your research. This is unfortunate as it smells absolutely wonderful! Perú balsam essential oil is thick and sticky it needs warming up before use, but carefully otherwise it can apparently destroy its properties. Peru Balsam has a mild but deep, rich aroma that is woody yet sweet with vanilla. It also has a very subtle hint of cinnamon. Five Stars, but I will be using it sparingly, and carefully! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

It smells divine like a warm spiced vanilla syrup. Please be aware it comes in a thick sticky consistency similar crystallised honey, which makes it difficult to work with for aromatherapy. Other brands offer a pourable version via a vacuum distillation process that separates Peru Balsam essential oil from the resin. This version can't be poured, or be easily extracted from bottle. It came a pour cap, however it's useless under these circumstances and would have been better off in a small jar. It also doesn't dilute easily with a carrier oil. Fun fact: Peru Balsam is a tar resin extracted from the bark of the Myroxylon Balsamum tree.

Admittedly I'm a layman when it comes to diffusers - I thought these were the small bottles I normally buy that you just drop into some water before using with tea lighters or diffusers. With this you get very little instruction - just a bottle of very thick oil - it comes out like very thick honey. There is a note inside the box recommending microwaving the concentrate before use, but you actually need a ‘carrier oil’ to use the concentrate. After a little research I found you can either buy the carrier oil or use your own - can use coconut oil, avocado oil, seed oils and even some (but not all) vegetable oil. Seems you need a safe oil, ones that don't smell too much or are odorless. So you need a jar/container to add the oil first, then add the concentrates (you can mix and match complementing fragrances) - that's where microwaving for a few seconds will thin the concentrate allowing it to come out easily. Once mixed, you will need a funnel and a smaller bottle to store the created mixture. I struggled with this as I didn't have any of this, just the normal diffusers - I will need to research more to try and find which carrier oil is best/better to use. The peru balsam which I chose almost at random, hoping for a flowery smell, does indeed have a nice light fragrance - reminds me a little of vanilla.

Sie können als Duftstoff für Kosmetika dienen oder als Duftöl in einer Duftlampe, usw. Welches Öl sich am besten wofür eignet hängt immer auch ein wenig von der Duftintensität und Konsistenz ab. Dieses Öl kommt in einer 15 ml Braunglasflasche, um es vor Licht zu schützen. Es ist relativ dickflüssig und ich würde das Tropfteil nicht einsetzen, sondern den Inhalt lieber mit einer Pipette entnehmen. Es ist aber auch sehr dickflüssig und zäh. Daher empfiehlt es sich auch, den Inhalt zunächst im Wasserbad etwas anzuwärmen. Der Duft des Öls ist nicht sehr intensiv. In einer Duftmischung jedoch rundet er Düfte sehr gut ab. Es ist ein warmer, kuscheliger und vanilliger Duft. Um das Öl in Kosmetik zu Einsatz zu bringen oder um es in einer Duftmischung unterzubringen empfiehlt sich generell eine Verdünnung des Produkts herzustellen. Dazu wird Ethanol empfohlen. Im Parfüm dient es als Fixateur für warme, süßliche Düfte. Da das Öl ein Destillat aus dem richtigen Peru-Balsam ist, gilt es als unbedenklich. In meine Kosmetika würde ich es dennoch nicht geben. Aber als Parfümkomponente finde ich es perfekt. Parfüms muss man schließlich nicht zwingend auf die Haut sprühen. ·•★ Preis/ Leistung ★•· Der Preis von 9,49 € ist absolut in Ordnung. Das Produkt ist für gewöhnlich sogar etwas teurer. ·•★ Fazit ★•· Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne, denn es ist genauso wie anderes Perubalsamöl sehr gut zu verwenden.

Smelling nice balsam, the smell on itself was new to me. If you want to use it in a diffuser, first warm it up in a microwave to make the balsam more liquid. This one is more ment to mix it with creme, those kind of products. The scent is staying for a long time, with this brand Greenwood you cannot do wrong!

Danke! 😊 *Versand und Verpackung: Das Öl wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert. *Qualität und Eigenschaften: Hier bekommt man eine kleine Flasche mit ätherischem Öl. Ich benutzte es um Cremes selbst herzustellen. Die Flasche fühlt sich wertig an, der Inhalt lässt sich sehr gut dosieren. Mehr kann man dazu schon nicht sagen. *Fazit: Gutes Öl das tut was es soll.

Das GREENWOOD ESSENTIAL Pure Peru Balsam Essential Öl aus Dampfdestillation soll in therapeutischer Qualität sein. Die in Indien ansässige Firma hat zwar eine Webseite, die aber nicht angezeigt wird. Mich interessierte die zugesicherte "feinste Qualität" aus "einwandfreien Quellen auf der ganze Welt"... "Wir haben hochentwickelte Prüfgeräte" und "strengen Reinheitsprüfungen"... nur: zu sehen ist von den ganzen Reinheitsprüfungen nichts! Bekanntlicherweise ist die Schadstoffbelastungen in Produkten aus dem fernen Ausland sehr hoch - da sollte man nur etwas kaufen, was Bio-zertifiziert und mit Laborprüfungsbericht angeboten wird. Beides hier nicht gegeben. Zudem ist Perubalsam unter Hautärzten gefürchtet, da es mit Nickel und Duftstoffen zu den häufigsten Kontaktallergenen europaweit zählt. Etwa 30 Inhaltsstoffe von Perubalsam können eine Allergie auslösen, das Hauptallergen ist Coniferylbenzoat. Eine Allergie gegen Perubalsam kann sämtliche Beschwerden einer Kontaktallergie verursachen. Auch sind phototoxische und weitere Hautreaktionen möglich. Daher verbietet die Kosmetikrichtlinie der EU seit 2005 den Einsatz von Perubalsam als Duftinhaltsstoff; seitdem sei die Häufigkeit der Perubalsamallergie zurückgegangen. Die Kosmetikindustrie nutzt stattdessen Perubalsamöl, das weitgehend unbedenklich ist (wird durch Destillation des Perubalsam hergestellt). Ob das für dieses Produkt von Green Essentials auch gilt? Wer weiß... Mein Fazit: Ein Nicht-Bio-Öl - vermutlich aus Mittelamerika mit völlig intransparenten Qualitäts-Aussagen ohne Beleg. Zudem ein höchst umstrittener Stoff, der mehr Schaden als Nutzen anrichten kann. Davon lasse ich mal hübsch die Finger...

Ich habe schon einige Öle von Greenwood getestet und kann jedem eine hochwertige Qualität bescheinigen. Dieses Öl ist außeDrgewöhnlich, ich habe diese Duftnote noch nirgends sonst entdeckt. Der balsamische Duft entspricht dem Weihrauch ist sehr angenehm. Ideal für die Duftlampe und den Diffuser. Von mir 5 Sterne.
