I’ve bought this green tea twice now, and most of the time my wife drinks it. She’s really happy with it—says the flavor is just right, not too bitter. The leaves are nice and full, and it makes a great cup every time. I also like that it’s loose, so she can brew it exactly how she likes. Definitely a tea we’ll keep buying.

I have had Gunpowder tea for many years - when I can find it. I am so often told be "tea people" like Wittards that there is no call for it. Well, I want it. And have had to resort to small independent tea dealers in the past. To be honest, I hadn't thought of Amazon which is odd as I seem to get just about everything else I need especially oddity buys from Amazon since 2002! So I ordered this. I was delighted with the size of pack [500g] but the taste test was key. And I was not disappointed. A subtle flavour, light in colour and with also a light aroma. Not as "grassy" as Green Gunpowder can be. A great find and a taste to relish. Be warned though and do not put too much in the pot and def do not let it stew!. I have found that one teaspoon per cup is sufficient and if drained down to the leaves can be refreshed and a second cup from the leaves can be had. Great delivery, superb price and highly recommended.

Great. I drink 5 cups of green tea per day so 500g should last me about 250 cups or 50 days using 2grams per cup.That's the same as 5 packs of green tea teabags from the supermarket which would cost me over £12.

I'm a huge coffee drinker but coffee has become so expensive nowadays. 1lb of whole beans is around $30 on average right now which is about $1.00 per cup of brewed coffee (small 8 ounce cup). The mindblowing part is that this 500g of gunpowder tea is an INSANE amount of tea for only $14! You only need half a teaspoon of this stuff per 8 ounce cup which is about 500 cups of tea. You can absolutely re-steep it also (and are encouraged to do so) which would give you potentially 1000+ cups of tea. Each cup (if you only brew one time and don't re-steep) costs you 2.8 CENTS compared to $1.00. Wow! 500 cups will last you likely 1 year+. What about the flavour? Extremely pleasant! I like it more than Bancha and Sencha green tea. As long as you don't over steep it: it has a refreshing tone to it. Even though you're only getting half the caffein per cup compared with coffee, overall you're still getting a MASSIVE amount of caffeine in a 500g bag for dirt cheap!
