Flora-Flow Pressure Regulator, 10 PSI for Drip Irrigation

received product on time and easy on the budget. this was the final component of a low pressure automatic watering system for my chicken yards. with this installed i am assured that the chickens have a constant water source and less worry of ruptured lines while i am away at work.

Was a bit concerned when I opened the box and my fears were realized when I threaded this pressure regulator onto my hose. The output end is designed well and is deep to grab lots of thread, but the input end is only about 1/4 inch deep, thin plastic, and I think designed to break. I threaded it onto my hose and snugged down on the washer only to hear the plastic crack under very little pressure. I can't imagine how these regulators could hold up under normal outdoor use. And guess what - when it breaks and you come back to Amazon to make a return you find out there are no returns allowed. I guess the seller knows they are junk too!

This regulates pressure for use with a drip irrigation system.It performs adequately according to my observations.The price is great!

I’ve purchased two of these. The first worked like a charm: it solved the problem of too much water coming out at the beginning of the run on my soaker hose. For the second , I made the mistake of over tightening when I installed it, and the device broke. Make it tight, but not too tight!!!

Works Great - maintains the pressure for one or more drip lines.

Connected to a hose bib, still pushes way to much pressure.
