Beautiful Bed for Small Area
This easily assembled vertical planter is lovely. It accommodates approximately 3 small plants per tier.Although the planter is made of wood, it doesn't appear to be treated, so I'm concerned about its weatherworthiness going forward, which will determine its durability. I'll follow up once I have more data.

Really nice design but has potential drainage issues
I'm a petite woman, and I was able to easily assemble this myself. The wood is very lightweight, which is what I expected for the price. It's a clever design and holds a lot of soil in a small space. (Each container held about one 16 qt bag of potting soil.) I added some furniture casters at the bottom to move it more easily across my patio. There was only one drainage hole in the bottom of each trough or container, so I drilled a few extra holes down the length of each. Unfortunately, the fabric liners really retained water too much. I didn't think about this until I had already put in potting soil. In fact, I got no drainage at all until I used a sharp implement to poke holes in the liners going through the drainage holes. Even then, it took a long time before there wasn't visibly puddling water if I dug down into the soil. Maybe if I had used a lighter soil or mixed in more perlite, this wouldn't have been as big an issue. Next season (if it lasts that long), I'll try that.

well-made of quality material
Two people can easily assemble, one person would be a bit of a struggle. it appears to be cedar wood and is of reasonable thickness. Once assembled and planted it withstands winds of 34+ MPH without a problem. We did move it once after planting, it showed no tendency to flex or shift. I would not hesitate to purchase again if needed.

Sturdy and simple - better than I hoped for! Came with a liner which was a most pleasant surprise!

Perfect for small yards
I stained mine black to match and it looks great ..I will miss the smell of fresh wood though.

Three pieces arrived broken
Three of the triangular side pieces arrived with the tips of the triangle broken off and had to use wood glue to glue them back together. The wood was so dry and thin that I was not surprised that they were broken. This item was much more cheaply made than a similar item I had bought about 6 years ago that was no longer available to order through Amazon.

Easy to assemble
Took 30 minutes to assemble. Recieved all the pieces. One side board was split so used wood joiners to reinforce the split. One person can assemble. May need a hammer to fully seat dowel rod pegs but no other tools. Need 2-3 one cu foot bags of soil to fill the three tiers. Before filling with soil, staple the fabric liners to the boards to hold the liner in place. Fully assembled it is 34 1/2 inches front to back and 33 1/2 inches from side to side. Light to move until filled with soil. Seems solid and i am trusting it will remain so for many seasons. Presently would buy again.
