Dress Up America Firefighter Costume for Adults - Mens Fireman Jacket

Nice costume to match my sons outfit. Plan to wear with simple black sweatpants for a few years.

Opened up the product and it reeks of burnt plastic. Tried it on and it wouldn't fit over my shoulders (I wear a 20 women's in shirts, or a 1x for the most part). The smell is lingering on the tank top I was wearing underneath it. The fabric is incredibly thin and almost see through.

Good costume, the material is better than I thought.

The main thing that bothered me which I took off a whole star was the sizing. The sleeves were slightly shorter and it was mildly tight under my arms. I'm a 42R jacket size. The look was great for what it is and the price I paid (~$25). There was nothing exceptionally fancy. Some of lettering was very slightly faded, and that contributed to minus a half-star. I took off another half-star because it came with a lot of creases, and there wasn't really much I could as it said I could not iron it. I didn't have a steamer, so I tried hanging it in the bathroom during a hot shower and nothing. It says something along the lines to lay flat to dry (not in the dryer) so that was out as well.

The velcro on this was exceptionally strong and it stuck to the costume in all the places you didn't want it to stick, fraying the yellow safety stripes. It would also stick to other costumes if you weren't careful. I mean--on one hand, the velcro worked and I didn't have to worry about it flying open while my actor was on stage, but on the other, it damaged the costume itself and other things because my actor wasn't that careful.

My son loves it

It had too much Velcro on material and kept tearing the material that got stuck to it. When is washed it in delicate mode, it tore itself apart.
