Review: Great for reluctant early reader Spider-man Lovers!! - Is the story super complete? No, but to be honest most early readers that are repetitive are not always that exciting. So Spider-man helps save the day, Several Villains are in the book, Doc Ock and Sandman for example. Spiderman decides to use a game of tag to catch the villains as they try to ruin the day of several children. He uses his web shooting, "Thwip" to try to capture the villains. As his attempts fail he eventually comes up with a plan to capture them and save the day. repetitive text but not so repetitive that it becomes too boring. My 6 year old grandson loves it, starting 1st grade and he can read a few words in it as I read the rest. Illustrations are colorful. Review: Great book for toddlers and preschoolers! - Wonderful book for toddlers! My 2-year-old is obsessed with Spiderman, and he absolutely loves this book! The words are simple (he can kind of read along with me) and the pictures are big and bright. He will be enjoying this book for many years!

Excellent book for a young Spiderman fan
My 2 year old son is obsessed with Spiderman but I find most of the superhero books and shows on TV too old for him. This book is perfect! The story is easy enough for him to follow and he has now memorized some of the lines so he recites the book as I read it. I also appreciate that the story is non-violent (just a little mention of sand throwing and pushing but not bad) as can be an issue with other superhero stories. I'm going to look into buying more of these types of books.

Excellent buy
I bought this for my 5 year old grandson. These days kids get too involved with cell phones, I pads and electronic games. I want my grandchildren to love reading. The love of books is what children need. He loves reading to us.

My little Spidey loves it
My 3 year old son loves Spiderman but I find most of the superhero books and shows on TV too old for him. This book is perfect in every sense. The story is easy enough for him to follow. I also appreciate that the story is not that violent as can be an issue with other superhero stories. The only con was of the story could be a little more relevant that Spider-Man playing tag with bad guys. But keeping that aside I'm going to look into buying more of these books.

easy enough for my 3 year old to pay attention ...
My little Spidey LOVES this book. He's memorized it and now insists on "reading" this to Mommy. It's cute, quick, easy enough for my 3 year old to pay attention to the whole thing. I like that at one point it goes over directions "over, around' through" with how the villains interact with the sandbox, a cute way to teach prepositions.

It's a very, very interesting story.
It's a very, very interesting story. How spider-man deals with Doctor Octopus and rhinoceros! Children really like this book! You only need to read it a few times to do it yourself!

Brilliant book for spidey fans learning to read
Bought this for my 3yo son who is a die hard spiderman fan. This is a short story. It's a line or 2 per page, simple short words and lots of repetition. Perfect for little learners learning to read. I highly recommend this.
