Brez premium nasal breathing aid -- Large

I am degrading my review from five stars to one star (zero but the rating won't go that low). Their quality has progressively free fallen from useful to useless and now is a near-con in my opinion.Brez nasal breathing aids used to be stiff and held my nose open. Then, their quality started progressively free falling. Half the boxes I received had bad quality wet noodle ones like wet spaghetti and were useless at keeping my nose open. Then it progressed to only one box out of six having stiff ones. Now they are only useful for throwing into a pot of boiling water and adding spaghetti sauce….or maybe as a fishing lure for trash fish.I would recommend their making stiff ones again. If necessary, then they could make make a separate category of stiff ones and the other weak ones as safe replacements for rubber bands.Like so many other products in our culture, the management has destroyed these…like chocolate Balance bars and Brooks walking shoes (soles that peel off) that I have used. Currently, Brez might work for some people who have perfect noses, , but I can't use them any more. Now I use Woodysknows nasal breathing aids until these too are someday possibly destroyed by incompetent management :( -----------------------------My old review:It works!First however, I admittedly am a very hard case. I tried the nose breathing strips for my deviated septum, almost permanent sinus infection and permanent allergies and it never fully worked. With Brez large-size nose oval (flexible rings), they initially did not work but finally did magnificently.First I tried the medium Brez size and it did not work. Then I tried the large Brez size and followed instructions and it did not work.Finally I disobeyed the instructions and I put in the large size brez ovals in the vertical position (not horizontal as recommended and which is not in the instructions) and it worked but left my nose sore for a while. However, after sticking it out for a month, I built calluses and now I don't even know they are inserted in the nose...and finally something really works.The only negatives are that they are a bit pricey and it might take putting the nose ovals into a vertical position if you are a hard case like me.Don't take my case as usual, because as I said I have a hard case...but it is worth the extra trouble if you just stick it out.Highly recommended!!!...just stick it out and it will work.

I recently got Bell's Palsy, which, amongst other facial paralysis issues, cause my nose muscles to collapse a bit. Before that even, I had had subtle breathing issues, with my nose closing in and not allowing proper nasal oxygen intake when running or hiking. I inquired with many medical device companies and asked about any sort of circle implant to keep my nostrils open, but no one knew what I as talking about, and recommended that I should invent one. When checking on Amazon, I found quite a few and ordered a varied selection. These Brez premiums are the product that I like the best.These are very easy to insert, relatively soft and unobtrusive, and do an excellent job at keeping the nostrils expanded open. There will be some adjusting to be made, depending upon the individual, and it may not even be the perfect fit for some. But for me, I could not be happier. These have been a God-send in helping me with my breathing issues.Price-wise, I think they are more than they should be, but in comparison, I would still rather purchase these for the quality and ease of use. I do think, if they became more popular, the price would come down drastically, but we'll see. It's not that intrusively expensive.I'm not sure why they seem to be non-reusable. I personally do re-use them each for several days. Most of the other products are in fact created to be reusable for at least a couple of moths. The box states that these are one-day use products. I would like an explanation.Also, all the different products, this one as well, state not to use the product for more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period. I would also like an explanation for that. It seems as though they are comfortable enough to be left in.All in all, I cannot give enough praise to this company and what they offer. It really has helped my situation immensely and I am telling everyone about them. If you have nasal breathing issues, these are a must-have.

Even though there are more people who like it than not, I am sorry to hear that so many people have not found relief with the Brez Nasal Breathing Aid. I was able to stop using my CPAP machine in favor of using these. In my case, snoring was not this issue, it was not being able to breath when I sleep. I guess that amounts to the same thing, but in case it makes a difference to anyone, these things instantly open my sinuses enough to be able to breathe COMPLETELY normally. I will say one thing, but this goes against the instructions, I rip the rings off the connecting piece. With that little connector on there, the rings just do not go high enough to do me any good. I know the risk of losing them up your nose is there, and it has happened to me, but it is NOT an emergency room visit to get it out. Either blowing your nose very hard, or a long pair of tweezers. I have been using these for six of seven years and that has only happened once. Maybe that little bit of information is what makes the difference between my review/opinion, and those of a person who does not like this device. Anyway, it has been wonderful for me. Anyone who has large ones (unopened) and wants to sell them to me, I would be glad to buy them.
