I just finished 20 days of radiation and used this lotion twice a day, after my radiation oncologist approved it. My skin has held up quite well throughout the process with some soreness and redness but nothing too bad. No peeling or dry patches. It was also soothing to apply and isn’t greasy. It seemed to be absorbed quickly. I am still on my first tube as it is a decent size—it likely still has enough to keep using it for the next couple of weeks. Well worth the money. It had all the ingredients I was looking for. No noticeable fragrance which I appreciated.

I started using this cream around a third of the way through my course of radiation for breast cancer when I started seeing skin effects which rapidly increased in severity. I tried Aquaphor like many friends recommended and couldn’t stand the thick greasy feeling it left. This cream is light and very easy to apply, even when skin is irritated it glides on smoothly. It made a significant improvement almost right away and I really think it kept the side effects to a minimum. I had very little itching or skin flaking and the cream immediately soothed some of the redness. I used it first thing in the morning, after (never too close before per oncologist instructions) my midday treatment and before bed. Post treatment I used twice a day. I was very glad I bought the larger size because it lasted through continued use post treatment, 3 weeks post radiation I feel like I could stop since the little bit of dead skin I had has sloughed off and the new skin seems healthy and hydrated. My radiation oncologist and his nurses were all very happy I had selected this product as they had received samples in the past and liked the results. I chose the unscented version because I can be sensitive to perfumes etc and figured it would be better for irritated skin as well. Very highly recommend this product.

This is a wonderfully light and soothing radiation cream that isnt packed with harsh chemicals. Applied generously throughout the day while undergoing radiotherapy. Used alongside pure Aloe Vera. No burned skin after 16 treatments to chest. A little pricey for 26$ a tube but works great. Can be used as body lotion also. No greasy mess.

This product is really good. I daily used after 30 times radiation. No peeling and itching for my sensitive skin.

Pro: A sample packet of the unscented version & a few packets of various other manufacturer’s creams were given to me to try by my onco nurse. This brand seemed to have rather good absorption & didn’t feel “greasy” to me, so I decided to buy the Lavender version. If you can tolerate scents, you will enjoy the Lavender, which is pleasant & uplifting imo. This cream helped so much to soothe the crazy unpleasant changes my skin endured through 30 rounds of radiation. I could not & did not use it on the open burn wounds I suffered but once those healed enough to resume use, this cream helped much to soothe, hydrate & heal those sensitive areas. Con: There is one downside to this product though & that is the price point, for which I deducted one star. It was already priced on the higher end to begin with & then it jumped up by more than $5.00 when I needed to buy more. So VERY disappointed by that & I did not purchase again. It seems to me that these companies know patients are vulnerable & charge whatever they think they can get away with in our time of need. Shame! Shame! Shame! Cancer patients are already enduring so much pain & discomfort physically, mentally & emotionally during such harsh treatments. Making helpful items like this less affordable just adds to the hurt. Please do better.

Ordered this prior to radiation treatments. Was prescribed a cream to help alleviate skin reaction, but after about 3 1/2 weeks I developed some itching in the treated area that interrupted my ability to fall asleep. Hydrocortizone didn't help. Finally tried this cream. It made a difference. Got enough relief to fall asleep. Odorless, a little greasy, feels moisturizing.

Exceptional results. Radiation burns did not appear to be healing as I wanted. Once the cream was applied, the wound began to heal in a material way. Very happy with this product.

I purchased this believing I would have radiation treatment after breast cancer surgery. Being cancer free post op it was not required. One year later I got a sunburn that turned my skin a violet color. I thought of this cream and all the natural ingredients it contains. I applied it and it was soothing and moisturizing. I applied it when I started to itch and peel. The skin came off easily and comfortably. I can't say it has medicinal properties but now I use it as a moisturizer for my dry skin. It works for me!
