I want to try to clarify on some things I have read about this product in the reviews. The first thing is the magnifier just sits/hangs on your monitor on metal arms. It is not fastened permanently to the monitor. It is easy to take off and clean that way. If you bump your monitor or desk a lot then I can see where you would have trouble getting it to stay on. The next is it depends on how bad your eyes are as to how helpful this product would be. My Mom quit driving about a year ago and she loves it. She watches a lot of YouTube videos and this helps her see things better. I do not wear glasses and if I had to look through it it would make me crazy, but I do not need it. I think there is a window between good eyes and eyes too bad for anything to really help that this would be useful for a person with failing eyes. My Mom had been getting shots for about four or five years now and as I said earlier she quit driving a year ago if the timeline helps anyone. It is light, it does what it is supposed to do, and the arms are adjustable for height and to a lesser extent how far away from the monitor it hangs. It magnifies 2x and that is a lot more than I thought it would be. If it becomes less effective in time you might be able to make new arms to extend it further from the monitor and maybe magnify more but I have not had to try that. What you see might get soft or out of focus looking if you extend it too far. All in all this is a good product that is designed to work in a certain way and it does what is intended.

This screen magnifier didn't help me. The issue is that I'm frequently in online sessions in which someone shares their screen. The shared screen is too small for me to read. This screen magnifier didn't make a significant difference in the size, though. In addition, there's some distortion that I found distracting and potentially headache-inducing. The magnifier also doesn't secure to the monitor, so a bump can dislodge it. If you only need slight magnification, this screen might work for you. ETA: I didn't realize I bought and returned this item in the past. My comments this second time around are pretty much the same as the first time. ETA2: I didn't make it to UPS to return this item in time, so I got stuck with it. I've been trying to use it. The arms that the magnifier uses to hang onto the monitor are VERY loose and flimsy. A puff of air moves them, so I find myself constantly fighting to keep the monitor in the best position to help me. Today, I'm trying running a strip of tape between each pair of arms. This is not working well. I am down-grading my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. I'm contemplating whether setting the darn thing on plate stands at each end would keep it from moving so easily,. What a PITA and a waste of hard-earned money.

This does work to magnify the monitor screen, but is not worth the $114 that paid in January 2024 and definitely not worth $134 they are charging now. Limits viewing of screen to direct. supports are a little too loose so if screen is accidentally tapped the can fold in. The opaque edges can limit viewing edge of screen.

I bought this magnifier for my monitor at work. The program we use has small font, between that and the blue light. This was causing eye strain, headaches, and tired eyes by the end of the day. This magnifier screen is exactly what I needed. Not only does it magnify, it also helps with the brightness of my monitor. I got it at a great value as well. The one I ordered was considered damaged. The box was all tore up but the magnifier itself has one small scratch on the side. In fact, it was several days before I even noticed that. I would definetly recommend this product to anyone who looks at computer screens all day. Thank you!

I ordered this for my husband who was having trouble reading "shared screens" as he is working from home like many these days. Bottom line is his company monitors are 24" but his home monitor is 27"; and this fits much better on his 27" then his 24" from work! Why? They didn't take into consideration the outer casings/edges of the monitors and this sits on those casings/edges, not the actual screen. Otherwise it is great and will be useful on his home monitor when sharing w/screens w/family but is not helpful on his work monitors. I will order one for his work but it will be a size down. That will provide the "stability" that people have complained about as it will sit on the "screen" vs. the casing/edge which can vary from flat to curved resulting instability. Great product, just not well thought out... they should have gone w/the actual "screen size", and not the outer casing so this rests on the screen. Most people are reading in the middle of the screen, not on the sides, and IF they do, they could easily slide it over to what they need to see. No need for taping it in place... just slide it over... 99.99% of the time it will work for most people.

The image view is great. But the mounting is terrible. It fell off multiple times. In aa attempt to put it back on, a leg broke. I Super glued it, but it didn't hold. It is a good idea but just too flimsy. I am returning it. If you get this, be aware of the draconian return requirements. One misstep and they will deny a refund and dispose of the return as they see fit. I will not ever buy anything from these people. Also has a steep restocking fee..

Just what I needed.

I am a legally blind man, my work involves a lot of computer aspects. I had to get a new Desktop and sent it out to get the software put on for my low-vision, so until it got back I had to figure out how to do my work besides the built in magnifier. I ordered this in hopes it would help get me through, not only does it not at all help, it actually distorts the image thus making it worse. On top of that it is very flimsy and poor quality. Do yourself a favor, Do Not Waste your money.

Works. If you have slight blindness or are losing vision this is a great product.

For the price of this screen, it's flimsy and doesn't stay in place. It's supposed to be glare free and there is nothing but glare. I don't find that it does much in the way of magnifying either. Very disappointed.

The magnifier reflects everything including my own face. It should have a non-reflective surface. The circular groves in the design actually distort figures in spreadsheets and make the magnifier difficult to clean. This is very badly designed.
