Mediterranean All Natural Handmade Baklava - 1 Killogram/70 Pieces - Pack of 3

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first or I wouldn't have tried it. I ate a few pieces before writing this review to give you an honest opinion. That's why there are some pieces missing. Mine arrive today 3/1/21 via FedEx. It was packaged pretty good. The contents did get a little shaken up as to be expected when shipping food like this, but for the most part everything came in OK. The flavor is pretty much what normal Baklava tastes like. I enjoyed it. The texture is correct in that it's crispy in the areas not covered in honey and the center nice and chewy with lots of nuts and spices. I think that this was a good buy and I will repurchase this item again. It's true what other reviews said about being able to purchase similar items at local warehouse shops but mine only carries it during Christmas for some reason. What about the other 11 months out of the year. I love Baklava and feel it's delicious all year round. Plus who wants to deal with all the crazy parking and huge crowds at the wholesale stores. This came right to my door with free shipping. Plus, it's a good amount of Baklava, it's Can't a little over 2lbs (about 66 pieces). Can't beat that! I think it would make a great gift to someone who enjoys this kind of food.

Received opened and they were all destroyed and mushed together with honey everywhere. Get them fresh and sealed directly from Costco and the same exact item is only $9.

Absolutely terrible. Look at this mess. Looks like it was put through a blender. Total waste of money. DO NOT GET!!!! Not one piece was actually whole.

Sad to say I was very disappointed. The lack of a “ honey flavor “ made these unlike any Baklava I’ve Ever had . I purchased these because it was the best price per Oz. Next time I’ll buy less quantity and more quality. Save your money ! Avoid these

This was a Christmas gift to my family in 2 locations and I am very displeased with the quality! It is the worst product I have ever tried and does not resemble authentic Baklava in any way except it contains FILO dough.

The "nests" were supposed to be filled with pistachio nuts, only two had nuts, all others were empty. Each of the selection I have tried so far taste basically the same and have an overwhelming cinnamon flavor. Kind of disappointing. Up-side: the treats will last longer.

Soggy

They advertise as Pistachio. Got cashew. Allergic! Ate one before I realized it, and spent all evening in a Benadryl haze. Package was oozing sticky honey glaze everywhere. Had to put ut on a sheet tray to even keep it from sticking to my whole house. And even the flavor... meh, with a side of bitter. How does one even make bitter baclava? Yikes...
