Hurst 1630156 Black Classic Knob

Fits great, looks even better. Way more comfortable than that square knob the c5 comes with. Still just a bit bigger than I like in my hand, but I'm not sure it could be any smaller since the shaft is so large.

The knob looks great in my Vette, would have got five stars if it wasn't for the high price.

As owning a 1999 Corvette since new, that is 20 years of using stock shifter knob and then installing this Hurst knob I do not like the feel of it at allBeing round does not feel well in hand and being made of hard plastic like, $50 is way over what it is worth and it then transfers temperatures poorly as either too cool or too hot where stock one being leather handle temp is always about the sameAlso Hurst knob is larger then stock and leaves less free space between it and like the radio in front of it.The stock knob is flat and a angle, sides are also kind of flat, it fits in hand much betterClearly for me was a waste of the $50 :(

This is the shifter knob that Corvette should have provided from the factory for the C5 cars. the knob is well weighted and has a nice fit and finish as would be expected from Hurst. The knob is a plastic resin and has a brass threaded insert for mounting, there is also a small nut for tightening the knob on the threaded shifter shaft. Overall it is great, the only drawback in the knob is large, some people might find it a little too big if they have smaller hands, but in my large mitts, this is the perfect size.

Bought it for my best buddy for his birthday and he said it’s way better than the OEM shift knob

It's a great shift knob! High quality and easy to install! Was in my hand in 2 days!!!

I would give it 5 stars but it had 2 small dimple dents in it.

Much more comfortable than the factory shift knob. Feels like your driving a real hotrod.

The shifter knob looks great. I really like it, however it does seem that I got one that rattles a little bit because the little screw-on part (that was a perfect fit on my 99 C5 Corvette) is not set into the knob snugly. I am planning on revising this review based on any support I receive in getting a replacement. It will get a 5 star rating if I get one that doesn't rattle.
