I wore these a handful of times when it was raining and they seemed to hold up really well. Compared to other kinds of boots, I really liked the way these looked and was surprised to find how comfortable these were.With that being said, when I first bought these boots, I was looking for a pair of boots that not only looked great, but could be versatile enough to handle different environments and situations. After reading some reviews, I noticed some people were commenting on how they could be used as hiking boots as well. I tried wearing these boots during a hike and was kinda disappointed because they didn't hold up as well as I was expecting. Keep in mind, I only went on one hike with these boots and I found that the rubber around the tops of the boots were cracking after the hike. This would most certainly put a damper on one of the key features of the boot being waterproof, since water could now easily seep through the cracks of the broken rubber. I also noticed that these didn't have great grip when stepping on wet surfaces, which would allow these boots to easily slip when stepping on manhole covers or wet rocks.I'll admit, that the product is only marketed as a Rain Boot and nothing more. So expecting it to endure the rigors of hiking or any other extensive activity might be asking too much. But considering that its a rain boot, I expected them to be non-slip.Pros:-Comfortable-Good LookingCons:-Non-Slip Resistant-Cheap RubberOverall, I will say that I will most certainly not purchase these again, unless there was a sizable discount/sale. These are really comfortable boots, but the quality of the boot just didn't seem on par for the price I paid for them (Purchased for $110 3 Months ago versus $80 on Amazon right now). These would be a good alternative to galoshes, but I would definitely not recommend these for hiking. While these are comfortable and did keep my feet dry, I still don't understand why these aren't slip-resistant. Love these boots. This is my second pair and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find them to replace. They are a great look for business casual or a pair of jeans. They do run a little warm on the feet so maybe not the best thing for summer time. Just an overall great boot, great construction and decent price.

They are comfy, I can wear them all day long, my left foot has some issues but once I get my foot in it helps my ankle be more stable. I love them
