Brand new craftsman 1700 psi electric will not stay on. why does it shut off right away?

Are you attempting to use it? It will only engage when you are actively running water and using the hose.

Will this work on a 1500 watt inverter hooked up to my pickup truck?

No, this is 13 AMP motor which would require a minimum of 1560 watts in order to run. However, the initial spike could be double that so it is recommended to use a 3000 watt inverter.

how much oil can this pump?? Need pressure?

Perfect for small jobs

This CRAFTSMAN electric pressure washer is perfect for small jobs around the camper, garage, and yard. It works great for cleaning chairs, golf carts, and other items that don’t need a lot of heavy pressure. I really like that it runs quietly and shuts off when you are not using it. It is lightweight, easy to move around, and very convenient to store. Great little pressure washer for a camper!
