I don’t understand why is it so much cheaper in Europe
I love this iron, the steam is so strong you have to be careful not to burn your fingers

Huge disappointment-- don't waste your money.
VERY disappointed in this very expensive iron. I do a lot of sewing--small projects. I've only had this iron for a few weeks and wish I could return it. I assumed that it would be a great iron as I had one of the Philips Azur steam generator irons a few years ago (it was very expensive and only lasted 2 years but it was a fabulous iron while it worked). I then replaced that one with a second steam generator (Philips Azur)-- a huge disappointment for sure. That unit never steamed well and then 'spit' water on fabrics causing discoloration in some pieces. This iron is horrid. The soleplate is appears to be Teflon-- it constantly shows 'burn' residue requiring constant cleaning between each ironing so as not to stain the garments. I cannot even lightly starch an item without this happening. Then there is the scratching! I use this on pieces of fabric that are no larger than 4-20" -- and never use pins. So I am at a loss as to how there are scratches. The other issue is something I've never had to deal with before. When I press my lightweight cottons, the actual imprint of the steamholes from the soleplate make an actual "impression" on the fabric. This is totally unacceptable and I really wish I could return it. This was a huge waste of hard earned money and I would not recommend this iron.
