These were gifts to my son in law. & Grandson to make things easier. So far so good

I was hoping that these would work great as I've gotten tired of using pliers to pull the hook out.However,of the four I got one looks like it's used with splotches that needed to be cleaned, plier marks on the tip and base, and needing to be bent a little back into shape. Clearly it had been used.A second one was broken completely at the base. I was able to repair it by gluing it back into its base. Something you're not supposed to have to do with a brand new item.All of them had scratches and marks on them like someone had used pliers on them.Because of the price I'm not going to return them and I'm going to give them a try. But I would not buy this again because clearly either quality control is a serious problem or things are being sold new that are actually used. Either way, pick something else.

Not only is this product too small and cannot handle mono fishing line over 8 lb test but its construction is of extremely poor quality. If you are an avid fisher, then stay away...

dry small 8 lb test at best otherwise you have to bens them
