Q: Is this mattress suitable for an adjustable hospital bed ?

This mattress is intended to be used on an Invacare hospital bed, measuring 80 inches long x 36 inches wide. If it fits on your bed, it should not have any significant issues, as our beds adjust both the head and foot ends.

Q: is it hard to find sheets?

I get the hospital bed sheets made by the same company, Invacare. They are sold right here at Amazon.com. See below, as this is what I had when I got them. The seller may even still be Direct Care Store, as shown. Q: Does the mattress expand after its rolled out of the box.? It seems ALOT thinner than the marketing pictures.

It does expand a bit...I waited 2 days and it expanded to about 5.5 inches to 6 inches thick. It actually works for my needs...I've been surprised that the edge I have to sleep on has held up under my large size for over 6 months now. Hope this helps.
