Wow ! Want loud? Get this horn !
If you want loud get this horn. I was watching videos of various horns and none of them really seemed loud enough for me. So I did an internet search and this was rated at the loudest bike horn available on numerous sites. So when I found this one on Amazon at a great price I bought it. I took it out of the box put the batteries in and WOW ! This is ear piercing I took two videos of it and the videos come out the same as every other video on Amazon shows. The volume is not reflected in the videos and I'm not sure why I went into my phone settings and I mean I have a Samsung s26 ultra and it's just not picking up the ear piercing blast. I went into my front yard and three houses away my neighbor looked over when I blasted this thing. I think this actually might be too loud for me. I kind of makes my ears ring. LOL. Get out of my way cars!

It is loud!!!!
Just got it and now I’m going to install it the quality is awesome the ability it’s perfect safety wise super loud easy to use and the value for the money. I guess it’s OK in battery life I have not yet tested but I will soon. I recommend getting you this one because it is loud from all the others that they’ve been selling that’s why I rate this as a five star I’m gonna show you some pictures and let you decide. But my recommendation overall get it.

Very Loud
I've only had this horn for a few days now, so I can't comment on the longevity, but so far, it's been a great E-bike horn and is definitely worth the price. Very easy to install and is very loud. Has a piercing high pitch sound. I live in the mountains and ride a lot at night, and this horn definitely alerts the wildlife of my presence, and they vacate the area rather quickly. If you were driving in a car, you would definitely be alerted by this horn. Would recommend to a friend.

NYC-tested, this is an e-scooter essential
I picked this up to supplement the anemic built-in horn on my e-TWOW scooter. I don't know if it measures up to its advertised dB, but it is plenty loud. I ride through Manhattan, including Times Square, and the horn does a pretty good job of clearing people out of the bike lanes. It isn't loud enough to get through to people wearing airpods or big over the ear headphones. The unit is sleek and attractive. I wanted to mount it on my stem, but the included clamps were too small and the wire to the button too short. I was able to put the horn on one side of the handlebar and the button by my throttle thumb, which is a perfect place. It is a little tricky to keep the horn and button clear of the releases for my handlebars, but it works out OK. I have to keep the horn aimed down a little bit so that it doesn't interfere with my hand/thumb reaching the electronic brake lever. Minus one star for the limited mounting options (though they do try to offer different sizes and spacers, almost all too small for e-scooter) and lightweight connecting wire. The starter batteries died the other day and I felt really uneasy riding without the horn. That says something. Good choice for city riders.

Perfectly loud and necessary for safety along with lights and other safety gear
WOWZERS!!!! If this horn doesn't get you noticed .....the driver is deaf or stupid! To be sure it is a great part of a complete safety system which should include bright clothing, lights and proper helmet.

Loud when it needs to be.
I'm a daily bike commuter and I've had this for 3 years. It's still working and I haven't even needed to change the batteries yet. It is loud enough to get the attention of drivers with their windows up which is really important. Little metal bells don't cut it with drivers. It has a simple, single-button interface. No switches or apps. I like that a quick tap makes a slightly less loud chirp for warning pedestrians and other bikers, otherwise I just lay on the horn to make sure that cars know I'm there. This is a must if you are sharing the road with cars.

Loud? Yes. Effective? Not as much as I would have hoped.
It is as loud as they claim. It also doesn't really sound like a horn; it's a high-pitched two-toned oscillating sound or a low-pitched continuous tone. Neither one are recognized by pedestrians as being a warning signal. Also: the trigger button is small and it can take a few precious moments to find when you need to. Loud? Yes. Effective? Not as much as I would have hoped.

Plenty loud and easy to install.
Effect alert noice and very easy to install. Mounted Hornit unit on left side of Aventon Level 4 Rec handle bar and button unit on hand grip also on left bar side. Taped extra wire with handle bar grip finishing tape to securely keep it in place and neatly out of the way. Ordered a second unit for my Trek Domane+ SLR7!

Great product. Recommended 👍🏻
Really great horn! Genuinely loud. 2 modes. I would say this is a necessity for safety while cycling. Not too difficult to install. Recommended 👍🏻

Very good horn but needs a better clamp and buzzer
Loud and gets drivers attention. Doesn’t clamp well to handle bars. Battery lasts for a year before needing recharging. The button to sound the horn can be placed wherever most convenient but the button that makes the horn work is very hard to locate when quickly needed. It worked well in two of nine emergencies. The other times I had to yell to get the cars attention because I couldn’t locate buzzer on the rubber band.
