Will this cause my pavers to get darker after application compared to no treatment?

The 8500 does not darken the pavers once it dried.

If I mix this stronger (with less water) would it work better?

Not sure, but what I can tell you is this stuff works great when you mix it exactly how it says to on the bottle. Water beads up and runs off my porch, sidewalk, and steps like rain runs off the body of a freshly waxed car. Water doesn't soak into the concrete anymore like it did before I applied Siloxa-Tek 8500. It beads up and runs off, or, sits there until it evaporates. Anyway, why would you want to mix it stronger (more Siloxa-Tek and less water)? It's already expensive enough mixing it as recommended!!

Can a driveway treated with siloxa-tek 8500 be resurfaced later using a cement resurfacing product (rapid set new crete)?

Why waste your time and money treating a surface you plan to repair. Do it right. Fix the surface then seal it
