Mandala/Pattern Book
The images are printed on both sides so the book was thinner than expected which is still okay but there are two strange things: there’s 25-30% of the area below the image to color that has four lines. The first line is for the name of the colorer, the second for date started, the third for date completed and the fourth is for you to put the name of the mandala/pattern! All very strange unless I was age 10 maybe. So, it really should have been sized smaller without all the lines to fill in at the bottom. I would have preferred that since I really like some of my smaller books. The second thing is that it’s not 100% a mandala book as I was led to assume from the cover image. Some of the images are mandalas and some are patterns, which is okay. I have a scant few pattern books but I still enjoy them. The mandalas are boxed in a black outlined square, they are kind of cluttered. Visually I prefer detail (which many, but not all have) with space between.I’ll keep the book because the images are ones I haven’t seen anywhere else and I’m not a huge fan of alcohol markers which bleed through to the next page, so my colored pencils will work just fine. The paper is create space from Delaware, which is the better grade of it.
