Well written, easy to read
Well written, easy to read. Sadly doesn't include the last 2 years of high school if you choose a science or math section, but still good value overall. I wish the font they used didn't make 1 and 7 look so similar.

From a Parent’s Perspective
This book has been incredibly helpful for my child. Math used to feel frustrating and overwhelming, but this “Big Fat Notebook” explains Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 concepts in a way that’s clear and easy to follow. The step-by-step explanations, examples, and visuals really help things click. I like that it feels less intimidating than a textbook. The layout is engaging and organized, so it’s easy to find specific topics when homework questions come up. It’s been a great support for reviewing lessons and preparing for tests. If your child needs extra help, struggles with math confidence, or just benefits from seeing concepts explained in a different way, this book is a fantastic resource. Definitely worth it.

the best value books for what they teach
i love this series of book's, My only issue is that there arent enough of them; they dont have algebra 2, calculus, physics, trigonometry, etc. These books generally have everything you'll need to grasp the basics and build a solid foundation to move onto harder topics. The explanations are clear and concise, the topics gradually build on the previous ones, the diagrams are very easy on the eyes and the quality of the books themselves is nice but the cover is a bit flimsy and can crease. The book itself is a bit light on questions and doesn't cover all of algebra 1 (and has zero trigonometry) but no book is perfect and for the price of this book, you can't go wrong.
