Great product and great price!
I absolutely love this wood stain! The red color is beautiful and it's semi transparent but goes on beautifully and one coat is all you need! You cannot beat the price! I've used more expensive brands of wood stain in the past and they cannot compare to Kilz! The end result was beautiful and the best waterproofing ever! I'd buy it again and again and recommend it to my family and friends!

I Suggest You Place Your Kilz Order
Years ago I had a leaky fixture under my sink. The smell lead me to a mold and mildew problem that was not pleasant. I cleaned, scraped and treated the area to the best of my abilty and applied KILZ Mold and Mildew grade bathroom paint. Kilz made my under sink area look amazing and 7 years later, no mold, mildew or stains. So when it was time to stain my fence, I was happy to see Kilz as one of the affordable brands. My fence is a decade old and looks like new after applying this stain. I did have another product on the fence and took my time ensuring it was all cleaned off ahead of application and as you see, Kilz went on clean, smooth and easy. I recommend!!!

Skip the prep - works great
I did none of the prep and completely satisfied. I have a wood sided hot tub that needed restaining badly and it turned out great. Beautiful color, the redwood dried very nice and the natural wood grain came through with the stained color you would expect. Thicker than other stains I have used but I think that's good and why it has a great performance and warranty. I would buy again. I still have half a gallon left after doing the job.

KILZ makes good products
I've sold Kilz products both wholesale and retail over the last 45 years. The consistency of quality is outstanding. This is my first experience with their deck stain, and it was a very good one.

Goes a long way
I was worried that 1 gallon wouldn't finish my project. Then when I read the directions, I was sure it wouldn't. Then I used it using the two coats required, and couldn't believe I still had a half gallon left. Use a brush, it really goes far, and it looks fantastic. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
