Voltage issue - international. Danger!
More of a complaint for Amazon sending US goods to the UAE without the compatible specifications than the Brother Printer itself;Beware; 2-pin plug requires adapter. The adapter has excess voltage and blew/smoked the printer mother board on first useage- rendering it useless !

Brother Customer Service Provided the Best Solution for This Little Old Lady
Excellent customer service ("CS") is so essential when purchasing items. For this purchase, the ink cartridges were so low I wasn't able to print. When I contacted Amazon, the only solution they offered was to pack it up and return it for a refund or replacement. As a little old lady with health issues, just setting up the printer was a monumental feat. All I wanted was to return the ink cartridges for replacement.Brother CS came to my rescue when I contacted, and explained my predicament! Their response was quick, and within a few days they shipped new ink cartridges at no cost to me! The CS agent also said they recommend people with issues such as mine contact them directly, which will enable them to provide needed support, and to track issues such as mine.I inquired if my warranty would be voided since the machine might have been used. The agent's response was that my warranty would be effective from the date of my purchase. Other than the ink cartridges, the printer appeared to be in mint condition, just like a brand new printer.Phew! No packing up, returning, getting a different printer, and setting the new one up.As soon as my ink cartridges arrive, I will be testing it thoroughly with all the different holiday crafting and Christmas present projects I have lined up and ready to go. I will repost an updated report once I have completed those projects.If you're looking for a printer with outstanding CS, Brother definitely is an excellent option. Note: I contacted Brother directly using the app installed during the printer set up.

I LOVE THIS PRINTER!!!!
This printer is just what I wanted...and more. I love the size, and how smoothly it prints. I detest having to install a printer. Put in id address's, passwords, sinc your router and modem to it Do this..do that...blah blah blah. Get your binoculars out so you can see the id address in the tiny little window in front....(if you can find it) what a pain in the neck....but not with this one. Simple is what I like, and simple is what this printer is. Just go to the Brother website...and WA-LAH...your all ready to go. Thankyou JESUS! OH, and by the way, put your binoculars away, because there is no little window in the front. HALLELUJAH!!!!!April 2022. When I wrote my first review I had just got this printer. As of today I have had it10 months, so I now have more experience with it, and I still ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The Investment Ink is the best. I sell online, so basically only use it for printing shipping labels, and in 10 months (of printing daily) I have had NO problem with running out of ink. FANTASTIC! Today I replaced the black cartridge. Yes, you can replace one cartridge if you like. I don't use the color ink, so all I care about is the black. The cartridge which is newly designed to hold more ink...was easy peasy to change, and the cartridge only cost $25, so I'm good now for another...close to a year. Also I detest having to constantly have error messages from a printer that you have to deal with (past HP printer). I have never had this happen with this printer. The printer pretty much takes care of itself. This is the best printer I have ever had. So easy to use, and almost no cost for ink. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
