I had been putting foil around my candles to try stop the "wax burrowing" that traditionally happens as the candle burns down, so I was look for another solution as the foil is a pain. I initially had doubts this would do the same job as the foil and in the first 30 minutes, it hadn't reached the right build up of heat to do the job. But you can see from my photos that after one hour burning with this topper, it melts quite a significant amount and stops burrowing and wax build up on the sides. Perfect!!! The listing doesn't do a very good job of telling you what types of candles this fits, but it does fit the traditional Yankee Candle 623g product perfectly, which is what I wanted it for.The pattern also looks pretty nice too, which is a plus. Reasonable value for money and solid metal cast that will survive for years.

I got this to replace my yankee candle topper which keeps falling off, this one fits the candle jars from Aldi perfectly. It does get hot but that’s because it’s over an open flame, I’d recommend using a tent peg or similar if you need to remove it before it’s cooled down. I’d definitely recommend this product as a gift for someone who loves candles.

I have bought candle toppers before and they have been great for making candles burn evenly. The last ones I had were direct from Yankee, but now that Yankee have changed their jars they no longer fit. These Hion toppers are des5in such a way that I am yet to find a jar candle that does not work well with this topper! Highly recommend this product and at this price you can get quite a few designs. Just one word of warning... Because they sit on the inside lip of the jar, they get really hot to touch, so when you extinguish candle or go to move it, just be careful!

Fits on top of 510g Pacific Wax candle, fits on top of 538g and 623g Yankee Candle. It will wobble a little bit if you carry the candle with it on top but it isn't going to get stuck from being too snug so I think it is a good fit.Looks pretty nice and not too feminine because it is a spiderweb pattern so I recommend this one for men and women.It is made from a strong material and looks well made. I'm happy with the priceFingers crossed it will help fix that green candle in the picture. Edit: it fixed the green candle after a few uses :)

Candle burn's evenly with this cover while you trim the wick to a couple of mm to create a beautiful calming effect, thank you.

I have been burning yankee candle large jar candles for years. I always have 2 candles on the first floor - the one in the kitchen has one of these toppers (from Yankee Candle); the one in the living room never did and both always burned fine. For many many years. All of a sudden the brand new Yankee Candle in the living room started tunneling despite burning it for several hours at a time (once all day). No idea why. I’ve never had that problem before. I tried cutting wax out and the aluminum foil trick and it helped but didn’t fix it. I didn’t want to throw out a $30 candle. I decided to get one of these toppers for the living room candle but didn’t want to spend Yankee Candle prices. This is absolutely perfect! The candle stopped tunneling immediately (all the wax around the edges totally melted so the top inch was even and melted) . The candle continued to burn totally even with no wax left on the sides of the glass until it got to the bottom. The topper is now on its second living room candle and that one is burning perfectly. The price was just right (like $6). It doesn’t hang over the edge of the glass like the Yankee candle branded topper does but it fits absolutely fine. I couldn’t be more pleased. Also looks pretty. Not sure why I needed it all of a sudden but glad it worked. Highly recommend.
