This hose works perfect with most CPAP machines! So much cheaper than the DME. The company had them on back order. Couldn’t wait 4 weeks!

This is a replacement hose to the original that came with the Respironics Dreamstation. That hose was very cheaply made and tore within the first month of my using it. My daughter stepped on it, and poof! I’m actually glad I had an excuse to buy this one. 😊 Hose doesn't pinch down or kink like the first. The ends fit tightly on both the mask and the CPAP, which means there are no leaks. It is also 24" longer than the standard, which is great when you turn away from the machine - no pulling, no jarring. The original one had a leak near the base, closest to the machine end of the hose. No amount of tape was fixing it. I like this much better.I wouldn’t call it premium, however – more like standard, maybe even standard plus, but maybe it is. I do love the quality, as compared to the other. While it is stiffer, it is also sturdier.Don't forget to switch tube/hose settings on your machine, if applicable. I changed mine from the original l 18" tube/hose that came with the Dreamstation. It is important to choose the correct settings to insure you get the correct pressure, even though it is self-adjusting (APAP, as opposed to CPAP).On the package, it says that it is both pba and latex-free, another plus. Be aware that it will NOT fit the Phillips DreamStation heated tubing C PAP MACHINE.

Hose is very long and appears sturdy, but it has a very strong plastic smell to it through the mask. I tried running it for several minutes to blow air through to air it out but it still smells very strong. I slept with it last night and everything smells odd this morning, since my sense of smell is trying to adjust for it.The good is it's long, if you run hose up over a hook or something, or move a lot as you sleep, this would be effective. It's too long for me since it droops down and the weight of the extra hose pulls against the mask. That's not a product failure as much as something I didn't realize would happen when I ordered it.The sockets are very tight, which is great, cause it keeps the mask connection joint from pulling apart as you move around.Overall would be good but the smell is twinkle, two stars for length and solid connecting joints but unusable if I can't get this smell out.I'll update if washing it resolves the issue.Updated Aug 12, 2017After rinsing the hose, and letting it sit out several days the strong plastic smell is gone, I have been using it the last couple nights and there isn't any smell and I am not waking up with a headache. This hose appears to be a good value as long as you can wait a few days before you us it, or wash it out really really well before use.Upgrading rating to a 4 as the hose is long and sturdy and fits tightly.

6' tubing is too short, especially for travel. 9' & 10' are too long. 8' is perfect. Cheaper than getting via insurance.

This is standard tubing for CPAP machine users. I like the 8-foot length to give me a little more freedom of movement. It holds up well enough for the amount of time I use it, which is around 3-5 months.
