Will the small saw work on the door jamb? Contractor made those too shallow so the deadbolt won't fully extend.

Dear customer, thanks for your question! This kit can work well on the soft wood doors for installing for a door lock. But we are not so sure that which kind of door jamb did you want to drill? First you need put the plastic frame on it for the center point. Then you can use the hole saw for drilling a hole.

Will this work on interior doors?

Yes. I just used it on an interior door. The adjustable plastic guide template fits 1-3/8-inch and 1-3/4-inch thick doors,fits 2-3/8-inch and 2-3/4-inch backsets.Follow the instructions carefully and it will work perfectly.
