Poiget American Pure Almond Paste 7-Pound Tub

I use this at Christmas every year for my Dutch pastries and it's terrific. My only critique is that it would be nice if it had a replaceable plastic lid to use once the can lid is removed. However, since I usually use the whole thing, it's not that big a deal. If I don't use it up, I freeze the remainder in 1-lb bags for my recipe. It lasts forever in the freezer.

I fell in love with an Almond Coffee Cake recipe, and found that buying the almond paste in the grocery store was a very expensive option. I was quite happy to find this on Amazon, and followed the suggestion of another customer, to scoop it out (using my large cookie scoop) and store it that way. This has enabled me to make this cake MANY times and it has been enjoyed by MANY people, without me feeling like I am being extravagant. This is a very good value when you compare the unit cost, the flavor is great and it lasts.

almond paste... love this stuff for all my baking needs and it freezes well once taken out of can.

Awesome almond paste. Make horn cookies with it and people love them.

Have used this for pastries and cookies and it is flavorful and easy to use. I generally remove it from the can and slice it into seven circular portions, which I vacuum seal and freeze for later use.
