Is this glue food safe?

I have no special info on this but I doubt it is safe for foods. Such glues contain chemicals that I'd assume are not to be ingested. Sometimes, if I break a favorite tea cup or pot, I glue it to preserve it but only for decorative purposes never to prepare tea or to drink from a repaired cup.

I am not sure that this is the best way buy I just peel it off when it's dry. I will all come off without hurting your skin

Has anyone used this for leather to leather gluing, for shoe repairs? How is it for that application?

II have used Duco for leather repairs on my wallet and camera cases and despite strenuous use, they have endured for years. However, never on major shoe tears. Small tears where there is not major strain would be improbable. I have used regular shoe glue for that. Duco is the best all-around glue ever made.
