Repeat customer - our SKIN said YES!
This company delivered all my checklist! From packaging, the products information, love the little booklet for soap making recipes. Easy to use! Feels so good on the skin (OUR SKIN SAID YES) and I really liked that this is Greek made. Apply my body lotion right after shower. The prices are reasonable especially when on special deals. Skin feels soft after. I was looking for a big size soap base; this is good!It lathers okay, smells natural, our skin feels soft & if you can’t find anything nice to say then you really shouldn’t buy from here. Get the block out and pretty easy to cut little pieces at a time but use a big knife. It’s not rocket scienceThank you for making a safe and good product for all!

Melts easily
Super easy to work with. Melts easily. I use it for soap making and homemade laundry detergent. Zero smell so I can add my own essential oils. Light lather and leaves my skin soft.

Soap from Greek Goats
It is evident this company takes pride in the quality of their outstanding product. Packaged in a hard plastic container, the soap arrives in perfect condition. Not a lot of lather, it leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized. But there’s an added surprise! A booklet of 19 soap “recipes” is included!! Instructions to make fancy “pastel-swirl soap bars”, “cucumber-aloe bath bar”, “ anti-aging matcha tea bar”, and many more exciting and inspiring varieties! The perfect combination of quality soap and unique soap recipes are in this more-than-reasonably-priced product. I am really looking forward to wow-ing friends and relatives with these!!

Quality base, light smell, and palm free
I wanted to try a palm oil free base, and it's pretty good! I also love that it's sourced from Greece, where goat and donkey milk products are a huge thing. I'm new to melt and pour soap and burned my first batch of this, but like most crafts, it requires some trial and error. My second and following batches were flawless!* With that said, if you live at a high altitude (3000 ft. and above), my high altitude baking advice is shorter heat times. The higher the altitude, the lower the air pressure and that means moisture is lost more quickly. In the case of the goat milk version, it IS milk so it's going to fizz and bubble slightly when melted. But, if it starts to turn into a goopy sludge (even if the color is the same), it's starting to burn, won't pour as smoothly, and you should consider shorter bursts in the microwave. For me, 30 seconds, a stir, then 20 seconds, a stir, then 10 seconds and a final stir, did the trick. The smell is light and exactly what you would expect of goat milk. (If you've never smelled it, it's kind of like cream and wet hay or grass.) I can see how this might be too pungent for some, but if you like "farm fresh" scents, you'll probably like this.Lather is pretty good. I've only used it on my hands and it did the trick, though it took a few seconds of rubbing. I plan to test it with a loofah. My only complaint is the container. Getting portions out can be a pain unless you plan on doing the whole 5 lbs. in one sitting. If this company were to sell individually plastic wrapped 1 lb. blocks, that would be amazing. (Please do if you're reading this!)But overall, I'm satisfied. Good stuff.

Simple to use and high quality results
Love the quality. It's ideal for a newby soap maker like me. It melted nicely in the microwave. Stayed runny long enough for me to pour into molds after adding fragrance and color. Instructions were clear. Very happy with the silky texture and how it feels on the skin. The container cracked when I applied pressure to cut pieces but may be I should have unloalded the block and cut the desired amount. I have ordered the clear version for my next batch.

You won’t find a better base
I tried it in the microwave the first time and it was a mess, but I’ve never used a soap base before and it was clearly user error. That being said STOP SCROLLING AND BUY THIS ONE. The five pound base, trust me.I ended up trying the double boiler method with a glass bowl on a pot of boiling water and let me tell you, it was the EASIEST to work with and the most fun I’ve ever had making soap.Pros-•melts beautifully•the price is AMAZING, came out to a little over a dollar per bar!•the “smell” (there really isn’t one) is actually very light and natural. Even opted not to use any fragrance or scents because I liked the way it smelled•comes with individual soap boxes to pack or ship your soaps! Was not expecting that and what a great added value•the recipe book is in depth and the instructions are VERY clear. I’m much of a “I don’t need no instructions” *messes up the whole process and figures it out eventually* kind of person. But when I opted to read the instructions, I had no issues.Cons-•there are literally none. Buy this soap base

Creamy, Easy-to-Work-With Goat’s Milk Soap Base
I’ve been using this Skin Said Yes goat’s milk soap base for my handcrafted soaps, and it’s been a great addition to my workflow. The base melts smoothly and evenly without scorching, which makes it beginner-friendly but still reliable for experienced makers. It has a creamy, opaque finish and takes fragrance oils, essential oils, and colorants really well without separating. Once set, the bars feel moisturizing and gentle on the skin, with a nice lather that doesn’t dry you out — exactly what you want from a goat’s milk base. The 5 lb size is perfect for small batches or testing new scents, and it cuts cleanly with minimal sweating when cured properly. If you’re making soaps to sell, gift, or just enjoy at home, this is a solid, consistent base you can count on.

This brand is fantastic. There is no 'E. Glue' smell and cuts like a dream. I have already puchsed and used more of the goats milk.

Facile d'utilisation
