If you have ever inadvertently sprayed Windex on clear plastic, you may have discovered that it is not recommended. Many clear speedometer and other gauge clusters are covered with polycarbonate plastic that clouds when hit with ammonia often found in cleansers like Windex. This leaves a water-spot pattern on the polycarbonate that is close to impossible to remove.I recommend this - inexpensive - $14 for the 3-bottle kit of 2 ounces each. So little is needed, the 2-ounce bottles last for years.Oddly, not a lot of elbow grease was needed, either. Just a little dab on a soft cloth cleaned it up. I didn't need to use Step 3.

Holy crap. I scratched my LCD display on my bike with gravel and was just hoping to make it readable again. Scratches are completely gone, looks factory new.

I was impressed how much better the touch pad on the microwave looked after using this product. It was cleaned with a scouring pad and badly scratched. This product removed the heavy scratches and most of the smaller ones too. It's worth a try on your scratched plastic.

I bought this to remove scratches on the firing of my ATV, decided for this because there is a picture of a utility tractor on the ad, so I figured plastic is plastic after all, the scratches were fine but can be felt when I slide my nail on them, I didn't want to go with a car product because I was afraid of causing more damage. Applied first the heavy scratch polisher, then the fine one, ended up with the same scratches but with a haze/dull finish that couldn't be removed either by hand or machine. Ended up using 3M car products to restore the plastics but still can see some hazing when I looks from an angle. I'm not happy with this products, the hard scratch looks like 3M buffering/rubbing compound, the fine looks like 3M polishing compound and is missing the 3rd that is the finishing compound. the cleaner is just a solution of water and some sort of silicone, didn't clean the haze or the surfaces. I don't recommend this product at least for vehicle/ATV plastics.

These work perfectly for my scale model clear parts. After sanding scratches down with 400 through 12000 grit sandpaper, this is the final touch finishes the task the the result is exactly what I was hoping for, glass look ecen clearer than before.
