Seems to be doing something
Been taken 2000mgs (200mgs of dry extract) a day for nearly 3 weeks now and although the effects have been far from life changing, I've certainly noticed considerably less periods of feeling low, particularly in this last week.I think people get a bit confused with the dosages, as I've seen some people claim that 1000mgs is too strong for a single tablet, as the maximum recommended dosage is 900mgs per day. However, this dosage limit is related to the dry extract, not the herb. So taking 1 of these tablets per day is really only 100mgs out of the 900mg recommended limit. So you could technically take 9 of these tablets per day and be within the maximum limit, although it's suggested on the packaging not to take more than 2-3 tablets per day.2 tablets appear to be gradually working for me though, so i'll be sticking with that dosage for the time being.Note that this supplement can have numerous interactions with other medications. So be sure to consult your GP if you're taking anything on prescription before taking St John's Wort. Also avoid the use of L-Tryptophan or 5-HTP supplements while taking SJW, as it could potentially trigger Serotonin Syndrome.

Easy to swallow
Exactly what it says it is. A big plus for me was the size of the tablets as some can be quite big. These are small and easy to swallow.

herbal help
OK this is a herbal product -- St John's Wort -- that I find useful. This maybe a placebo effect and its help maybe because it gives me the feeling that I am more in control and "doing something". Everyone is different but I find it helps reduce some of the symptoms of my depression.
