Precision product a Japanese design. A lot of care has gone into the design of build of this help-aid. I am a long time L-3 paraplegia (31yrs) and have used them all, this is the best reacher-grabber BY FAR. Quality costs a little bit more, but if you use this item once you will marvel at the engineering. Precision is the word to remember when judging this product, there several other grabbers out there that will lift much heavier loads, but trust my 30 years of experience with grabber devices this one is w/o a doubt the absolute finest, most versatile light-weight item of it's kind. DO not buy this item if you plan to abuse it, as I have repeatedly stated this is a precision item that will pick-up flat items, pills, change, plastic knives, and many other things, I love this product.

An excellent product
Quality design and quality materials produce a quality product. The magnetic handle is ideal for finding dropped pins, needles, thumb tacks and the ilk. The rotatable multifunction grabber makes you wonder why anyone would buy another. My old grabber was a silver metal foldable one with suction cups secured with screws that kept breaking. I am very impressed with this versatile tool.

Look the Angled Hook
The curved and angled hooks is exactly what I was looking for - it helps a lot to have the angled hook to pull things closer to you or to reach into notches or sweep along the edges - it's very light weight, and the instruction says it can hold up to 2 lbs. I do wish the opening can be wider - as it can be limited to the kind of things it can pick up - currently it is between 2 1/2 " to 3 1/8 " - but I have bought another kind of grabber took to pick up larger objects. While it's a bit pricy, I don't regret it.

Worth the extra few dollars for the best reacher!
The ultimate grabber! The double curved pick up “claw” works on every task I’ve needed it to. Pictures show how the notch above the handle allows this grabber to “hang” conveniently on my towel bar. I found that the loop meant to avoid dropping the reacher also allowed me to “double secure” it to the towel bar. Worth the extra few dollars for the best reacher!

Research a lot of these tools. This one was much more money but is much more versatile for my 85-year-old mother.

Absolutely essential tool to keep from bending over or reaching.
Had spinal fusion and can't bend over. Love this tool! Use it many times a day for picking up small things and also for tasks like straightening a small rug. Haven't used the magnet, yet, but expect it will come in handy, too.

My Personal Favorite
Following back surgery I bought several different types of reachers for various household tasks. This one is my favorite. Because of the hook-like claws at the end, it's useful for pulling open drawers, dragging the laundry basket to the washing machine, and snatching fallen items from the floor. This tool won't do everything I need, but it comes close.

So useful and fun to use!
This reacher is very cool. I love it. It'll pick up anything. It's a little more fragile than the other reachers I have, but it's just perfect for so many situations. It fills a niche! I try to carry it with me all the time.
