CAT SALMON, 4LB

This cat food has been a staple in my house for a few years now, and as weird as it may sound that's exactly about how long I wanted to wait until I reviewed it. I was drawn to this food because of what was NOT in it as opposed to what WAS in it. It was refreshing to know that while affordable, it was also safe for my cat. As far as I know they also make this for dogs but I can not attest to that as I have only purchased the cat brand. My cat enjoys both the salmon and chicken flavors equally although at first, I think the chicken flavor was in the lead but ever so slightly. I was feeding this to a 15-year-old cat as well as a 2-year-old cat and both enjoyed it. As hard as it is to try and gauge whether or not a pet is enjoying what you feed them it seems that they both really did. I think the price is extremely reasonable as there are lesser brands with awful products that charge more and produce less. Always check with a vet regardless if you have a cat with special needs, but I highly recommend this food for people trying to give their pets the best life.

Admittedly, I am a raw food advocate for my cats. I needed a way to feel good about what they were eating and raw allows me to make their food watery to support their kidneys but I get full control over their nutrition. But every now and then I get a guilty hunch that i may be missing out on giving them key vitamins, and that's where Nutrisca Comes into play. With their probiotics and list of vitamins and the fact that my cats LOVE it, I grind the Nutrisca up in to a powder and sprinkle it on top of their raw food and it works like a charm. The cats are a little more excited to come to eat and I rest easier knowing they are getting their nutritional needs met in a powerful way!

I had been using the chicken flavor of this food and was very happy with it. My cats enjoyed it and seemed healthy eating it; coat was nice, good muscle tone, etc...I thought I'd give the salmon flavor a try and immediately regretted it. The fish smell was so overpowering I thought I'd have to toss the whole bag. Thankfully I have a sealed plastic container that I have been able to keep it and, and I hold my breath when I open at feeding time. Going back to the chicken flavor when this bag is gone, it has no noticeable odor.

Expensive but high quality. Kitties didn't really go for it as much as other brands.

My cats are not picky, but they would rather starve some then eat this, even my outside barn cats don't like it. They eat the cheap stuff around this. its still sitting in the barn not being eaten. Won't be buying it again.

Bought the food because it was recommended by a friend. My Cat would not eat this food. Also, it STINKS, It made the entire house stink! Would normally have just thrown it away but it cost $40 so I decided to try and return. Amazon says no return on this product. So called Dogswell customer service as the product does have a Satisfaction Guarantee but since there is not a dealer in my local area all they could do was offer me coupons for additional food. Why would I want additional food if the cat will not eat it? Suggest you do not buy unless you have a local dealer you can return it to or you are willing to risk wasting money.

I feed Nutrisca to both my 2 year old rescue cat and my 6 year old Yorkie (of course I feed the dog dog food). It reduced the shedding in the cat and helps avoid allergy reactions for the dog. Dog has been eating it for 5 years and the cat also loves it, plus its cheap for a food this quality. Win-Win.

Hard to find in the store, but worth it when you find it. My cat has severe allergies, took years to find what proteins work. This is a wonderful cheaper option to the vet brands. The kibble in the bag is identical, but it’s more budget friendly. love it! Thanks to this, my cat is off her steroids and is symptom free from her allergies.
