will this stain skin? Im looking to make a natural self tanner type lotion,

If your skin is oily or mixed with other oils, not likely. I dyed my hair with this and it did not stain my naturally oily skin but did dye my clarified hair quite dark. I left it in for about 6 hours after boiling it. I didn't bother with gloves or Vaseline protection either. It's supposed to leave a yellowish or light-ish brown stain, but I am not sure how natural of a tan this will appear. Also, I think fresher walnut hulls will stain skin better than this dried stuff.

How do you use it as a tea or coffee?

I PERSONALLY use 2 tbs and boil for 5 minutes in 8oz of water, let it steep for an extra 15 and drink as tea with NO sugar.

Coarse grain. Can be used to brew tea.
