This is exactly what I needed.

Even when I know the measurements of something like this, I always tend to envision it as bigger, so I had to adjust to that when my foam squates came. Also, I knew these foam squares are ony one inch thick, even though the illustration makes them look much thicker,so I wasn't shocked,but others might be. So take note of the one inch measurement given, not the illustration that looks thicker! But those my only negatives about this product! The foam is dense and sturdy and very comfortable for my purpose. I would purchase again!

Our two living room armchairs were adopted as favorites by my kids. After a year of children sitting and bouncing in them every day, the casings over the springs started wearing out and we had lumps and soggy spots. I opened up the cushion, took out the springs, measured the space, and ordered these foam pieces. They fit nicely with only a small trim at the corners. They seats are now nice and firm and comfortable, though not as fun and bouncy for the kids, which is just fine. ;)

We use this for an unusual reason... our dog goes crazy happy when we are making a bed which has a foam pad on it -- he wants to lay on it and scratch it. So, we go these for him, to use in his bed and various places around the house. He runs to them and lays on them, so very happy. So, it's our dog who gives this 5 stars ;). Who would know better than he? :)

After sitting in the sun the seat and back on our weight bench disintegrated. Rather than replace it, I made new bench seat and back using recycled wood, an old too-thin yoga mat, and my heavy-duty stapler. It's comfortable and should last longer than the original. I have leftover foam; I thought I would need to double it up but it wasn't necessary. The thickness was perfect for the bench.
