Looking for a good light at a decent price? This is the light you should buy. Definitely need more than one if you want your plants to grow straight up instead of towards the light. Very easy to put together. Made of a metal so very sturdy. It is so bright I leave it at about 50%. Looks sleek. Works well and is not too heavy.

Light works great and comes with a remote to schedule on/off times. Can adjust the arm. Easy to install. The plants in the fish tank have done great .

My 20 gallon hex tank came with a lid and a light which proved insufficient for the health of my planted tank. Within a week of installing this light, my plants began to thrive. I like the timer feature which turns the light on each day at the same time, and turns the light off after 2, 8, 10, 12, 16 or 18 hours, all set from the remote. Light also has multiple dimming settings. I did construct a different lid since the one that came with the tank didn’t permit enough light to enter the tank.

i love the look and had to adjust the clamp since my tank has a lip. needed a makeshift spacer. i’ve had it for i think less than 6 months and already some of the LEDs have gone out. for the cost i’ll look elsewhere for similar product to replace, but liked it while it lasted
