Good bike bells
Like many others here, I bought the pair of bells, one for my tandem bike and one for my mountain bike. With a high price of a pair for six, so three for one bell, I had pretty high expectations for it, laser-engineered, highly precise, technically calibrated, etc. etc. Imagine my surprise to find out it was just a plastic clapper on a small metal bell. The shock! The outrage! Don't people appreciate the value of a dollar, well, three, anymore?! *grin*For the price, these are good. They attached very easily to my tandem bike handlebars. It is a little more snug fit on my mountain bike, as the handlebar diameter is a little larger. So if you have custom handlebars, or a custom bike, or something funky and you're looking at a $3 bike bell (seriously?), it would be worthwhile measuring your handlebars first to see if these inexpensive ones will fit according to the size listed in the description. Mine are pretty standard, nothing tricky or fancy, and they fit fine.My bike slipped and landed on the bell. It shifted the metal bell and wouldn't ring until I tightened the bell, then it worked again. So seems durable to me.Two cautions: the plastic clapper bends easily because it's plastic. Right off my wife bent one of them down trying to ring the bell, so I had to bend it back and it works so-so ok now. As someone mentioned, you flick the tip to ring it, not pull down on it like a lever or a button. I'm not sure I would put it on a kids' bike, unless they could be shown how to ring it. I don't think my kids would have had the finger dexterity to flick it. But it's very easy for us now that we know how to do it.2nd, WATCH FOR THE BRASS NUT when installing or moving it. The design is pretty clever with the nut fitting into the plastic and holding it in place while you tighten the screw. But it is small, so if it drops, be sure to catch it!The sound is high and pleasant and inoffensive. I do a double-flick. People are funny. Some go into convulsions to get out of the way; some older, likely hearing-impaired people, don't hear it; and some tiny few just refuse to budge. But for most "normal" people, the bell works great. I would recommend it as a good value for three per bell.

Hab jetzt Reserve
Außerordentliche schnelle Lieferung.Sie sind klein, aber sehr passend. Sehr preiswert.

Not worth $1
I installed my nice cheap bike bell and was somewhat disappointed in the not too crisp and not very loud sound that it makes when clicked. The old one that I recently broke was similar, but louder and sturdier, however I broke that one when I took a nasty spill. This one broke on my 2nd or 3rd ride simply from the flipper breaking off. It is plastic of course and just not sturdy enough to be relied upon for long term use. I wanted to at least install the second one and get whatever use out of it I could, but when I went to put it on I found that the little flat washer / nut had fallen out of the slot it was in and could not be found anywhere. Maybe it came that way, or maybe I just lost it in handling it, but either way, I didn't even get to give it a chance to potentially change my mind about the flimsy first one in the set.

Decent sound, could be a crisper ring. Not likely to last very long
Easy install. Need to pull the plastic striker back quite hard to ring the bell Hard to imagine this will last very long. Bell is plastic, not metal so likely why not the crispest ring. It does ring though and dint cost much, so four stars while it does its job.
