NEW ICHIKAMI SMOOTH AND SLEEK SHAMPOO (480mL) AND CONDITIONER (480g) SET!

This is the second version of Ichikami shampoo & conditioner that I've tried and I absolutely adore it! It makes my hair so soft and shiny, cleanses without stripping and moisturizes without weighing my locks down. My locks look extra flowy and luscious. The fragrance will knock your socks off, it's super fresh and feminine. Like, you'll be smelling your hair all day and if anyone has the privilege of hugging you, they'll be captivated by the scent. It's that good, and it lasts for so long. The bottles are quite large, and despite being a Japanese brand, the set is very affordably priced, ~$10/bottle. I'll definitely be repurchasing!!!

my hair type: 2a low porosity hair, not dyed, fine texture but tends to frizz I've been using this shampoo and conditioner combo for months now and I LOVE it. They're both officially going on my holy grail list!!!! The smooth and sleek shampoo & conditioner + jojoba oil before every shower have turned my hair from a frizzy pouf to well behaved, lightly wavy, and above all NOT FRIZZY hair that has even started getting me compliments. Dude I NEVER got compliments on my hair and now I do!!! And it feels soft now! I can't stop touching my hair and I think I jumped up and down the first time I saw the top layer of my hair (major frizz culprit) finally lay flat. THE SHAMPOO: Seriously, my roots have never been shinier. I found it's best for me to wash my hair every other day. Longer than that and my hair gets greasy again. (vs the oaui detox cleanser where I can go two days in between shampooing) THE CONDITIONER: I think this does the most for taming frizz. I use it with the tsubaki gold hair mask every shower, but honestly think this conditioner does more for me than the mask. SMOOTH AND SLEEK LINE: The peach scent is fresh but light. The bottles are huge and you only need one pump of each. This is seriously such a good deal and definitely worth a try if you have frizzy hair!!

EDIT: I recently brought the sister shampoo and conditioner set to this, which is the airy and silky set. I was curious if it would be any different to this shampoo set because I had already finished the whole bottle of sleek and smooth. And it turns out that it is a little bit different. This shampoo compared to the new one still leaves a better feeling to the hair and lives up to its name "sleek and smooth" but I did find out something else. I translated the ingredients on the back of the bottle and it has dimithecone in it. I hope it is not a lot, but if any buyers are wary of that ingredient just know that this shampoo set has it. Now as for testing how long the scent of flowers stays in my hair, after prolonged use, I could no longer smell the flowers. It may be because I got used to the smell so much that I couldn't smell it anymore whenever I shampoo. Or the fragrance is gone and out in the shampoo and conditioner? because after my hair is done drying, there is only a faint scent of the flowers if I smell my hair up close and it disappears. Another thing I wanted to test is if it'll help my hair from thinning and falling out and this somewhat did help with it. I didn't see my hair fall or break as much in the shower with this shampoo, probably because of the rice bran ingredient in it which makes hair stronger. As for using this shampoo for the first time, I advise you to lather up the shampoo in your hands and add more water if it's not lathering. I made the mistake of adding more shampoo when it did not lather and my advice for anyone who wants to use this, is to shampoo your head twice. The first time to get rid of the dirt, the second time to really clean it and set in the scent. (OLD REVIEW) I just tried this shampoo today and the other reviews weren't kidding about it smelling so good! It smells like I have flowers in my hair and it still lingers after hours! Not like any other leading US shampoo brands that claim to have scent lasting for hours, days, or a week. My hair also came out shiny and moisturized after I left it to air dry. I would usually put a hair oil on my damp hair after getting out of the shower to seal in the moisture but with this shampoo and conditioner there was no need! it left the locks of my hair moisturized really well. I need to test how much longer the scent stays in my hair and if it will help my thin hair become healthier again. But so far it's promising and it's living up to the rest of the reviews. I don't regret buying it and might buy another one as soon as my bottle runs out! You won't regret it!

I bought this shampoo and conditioner in an attempt to find a product better suited to my hair than the Love, Beauty, Planet brand. Upon arrival, the shampoo had leaked roughly 1/4 of the bottle due to being sent in one of those flimsy plastic Amazon bags (thankfully Amazon acknowledged this and was willing to refund me, but it's still bizarre that they'd send a liquid product in one of those mailers). Despite the missing/leaked product, I went ahead and tried it and was pleasantly surprised! It has a soft, sweet apple like floral smell which is nice, and it works phenomenally with my somewhat thinner/oily hair. I shampoo twice, condition once, but with this brand I don't have to use too much shampoo between my two applications since it suds up so well. All in all I'd definitely give it a try if your looking for something new!! Bonus points for it being a pump bottle!

I love this shampoo & conditioner! Besides smelling awesome, the conditioner really takes it any little tangles in my hair. And I wash my hair every nite!!

I was really hesitant to try this despite the good reviews, however I am so glad that I did! I've always used expensive salon shampoos like pureology or biolage, etc. The shampoos have never given me the sleekness that I wanted with my hair though or seemed to tame frizz much. I'm Asian/White with fine but thick hair so finding the right shampoo can be a struggle. I also don't tend to like floral scents much, however.. I decided to give this shampoo a try. After a week of now using this shampoo, I have noticed that my hair and scalp doesn't feel oily, heavy or dry. My hair has been very smooth, easier to brush and style, shines nicely and doesn't frizz up. The scent is like fruity cherry blossoms, but is not overwhelming at all and is actually very subtle and nice. It doesn't have a gross artificial fruity candy smell, or smell like floral old lady's perfume or powdery. It's a very refreshing and feminine smell. A little shampoo goes a good way in washing hair so the product should last for a good amount of time. Overall I am very happy I tried this and am excited to try the other ones by this same brand.

I do normally avoid any smooth or sleek type of shampoos because of my thin hair but this one had such good reviews and my hair was getting so tangled and dry by other products I decided to give it a try. First wash was amazing- my hair felt so soft and it was really shiny- it didn't have much volume but I let it air dry so I thought a blow dry next time would help. Well two days later I wash again, I blow dry and style, and it helps some but not much, and by the next day its feeling greasy. So again two days later I wash my hair and am careful to avoid putting conditioner on my roots but its just getting greasier and greasier even with blow drying. Its so soft and I'm not getting tangles but it does not look good. I am back on the hunt for a better product for my hair type.

I don't even know where to start with this stuff!!! I have used all sorts of products from all sorts of price points on my hair. Professional and drugstore shampoo, conditioner, treatments, serums, oils.... Everything. This set of shampoo and conditioner and it's matching serum(the one in the pink bottle) is AMAZING. I have pretty fine straight hair but I have a lot of it(I guess you could consider it thick, but the hairs themselves are very thin). I'm not sure just how much it has to do with how well this works, I'm sure it's at least a little important- all I know is this is my new go to set. It makes my hair unbelievably soft, it smells SO good too. I can't believe some people think the scent is too strong, it's perfect!! My hair feels the best it has EVER felt!!

This shampoo makes my hair very soft, smooth, and easy to manage. The scent is really nice and not overpowering, and it leaves my hair feeling clean without dryness. However, I think it works best for straight hair. On curly hair, it doesn’t define curls and can make them feel flat. If you have straight or slightly wavy hair, this shampoo is great, but it may not be the best choice for curly hair types.
