Love the pump, feels good quality, pumps a lot of air, very happy. Only thing is I wish it came with caps for the air outlets

First, noise level and airflow: as a caveat, I don’t have an actual airflow meter. That being said, a single one of the 160lpm units has enough power to churn 4 cubic feet of K1 media in a 275 gallon IBC tote for a moving bed bio reactor. Value: It absolutely pumps more than my 80lpm Alita pump at a lower price point, so to me this unit gets you your bang for your buck. Installation was super easy, took less than 3 minutes to switch out my old pump. Puts out a little heat but nothing crazy. Less noisy than a backup Blue Diamond pump I have. External build quality is good, hard shell (metal?) with enameled paint. Now, I did say I bought it twice. First unit died after about 2.5 years in operation. That was entirely my fault: we had recently adjusted our sprinkler heads, and it was spraying directly at the unit from the side, which is not what these are meant to deal with. Outside of that, the unit ran flawlessly and continuously for those 2.5 years.

I've bought 2 of these neither one lasted a year. Both tore the diaphram. The company sent me replacement diaphrams. I replaced them and they work correctly they were dry and surface rust. I greased them. I suspect that was the problem. There was no oil on the metal parts. They made it right

This air pump runs quieter than any of this type I've ever heard before. It has excellent filtration for incoming air, recommends replacing the diaphragms when they wear out from use, and has the replacement parts readily available. It's got bubbles roiling out of four big air stones and could easily handle more. We've used a series of extremely loud air pumps for our Koi pond for the past decade or so, so loud they've been the first thing we hear when we step out back. They've been pretty much 'disposable', since I've been unable to find replacement parts for them, so they've been tossed out after a couple years. I got a couple of the repair kits and expect to be using this pump for a long time.
