Smallish jar, but a little is going a long way. Works well to control flakes and itch from dermatitis. I start with a pyrithione zinc bar soap and a sulfur bar soap wash, conditioner and apply this before any moisturizing and holding products.

I used this since I was a kid and it still works great for your hair and scalp.

Perfect for me

I have been using this conditioner for years. I like the feel of the product on my scalp. Which is why I use it. It keeps my scalp hydrated and prevents the itching that can come from a dry scalp.

Works great, smells less offensive

I think this product will never run out of fashion and will never become a temporary trend. Sulfur 8 products have always been the most useful anti-dandruff hair and scalp conditioner around. It stops the irritation and itching. It helps increase softness of your hair. It is easy to use, leaves your hair feeling moisturized. The fragrance is nice and tolarable. The price is not bad even in this economy.

I tried the original sulfur before trying the light formula. I'm usually someone who isn't phased by certain things that other people complain about. I thought I could handle the sulfur scent. At first the original formula was bearable but when it came time to wash it out, the sulfur smell enhanced. I washed it twice in one day and my hair had a smell that was like a cloak. The next day I used dawn soap and that got rid of the left over oil. I then decided to try the light formula and it still smells. Maybe not as potent but there is still a smell. I returned it. Does sulfur work? Sure. Yes it does work but it smells.
