AurifilMako Cotton Thread Solid 50wt 1422yds Very Dark Navy

I am disappointed. I prefer Aurifil thread for quilting, but this spool is breaking every few minutes. My Singer Patchwork sewing machine is new so that is not the cause.

I use Aurifil thread exclusively for machine piecing my quilts. The seams are less bulky because the thread is finer than other brands. Each spool has a higher price per spool than its competitors, but has much more yardage, making it a good value. There is a wide variety of colors.

Tried to get end of thread to use. Ended up with both ends that couldn't be used.

excellent quality thread and a large quantity. Tt's thin thread, which I guess is recommended for quilting (I'm a new quilter), but sometimes I found such thin thread a bit frustrating to work with.

This quality thread has made a difference in the seams from my sewing machine!
